Tony saves Anh vo's ass so many times.
Thank you for editing out the downtime in between each point
Thank you
Tony knew his partner’s skill and level more than any internet “coaches” commenting on here. Yet, he still played with him and help his badminton growth. All these Captain obvious and couch coaches should chill off a bit lol😂.

The game was fantastic to watch as well! It was the first time I'd seen Tony Gunawan play in person.
Nice, clean and crisp game.
Tony is Legend...salam from Palembang Indonesia

Sure!
Tony was playing 1 vs 3. 2 opponents plus one for all the error and freebies his partner was giving the other side. Very up hill battle indeed.
ToGun playying's inspired me a lot
Lol, everyone pretty "blunt" on Anh Vo. Fact may be true that the mistakes were piling up from him, but in the heat of the game, remember just how high of a level he has to sustain every second. 1. His partner is Tony G (that's pressure enough) 2. These opponents are playing a higher pace than him and he's trying his best to keep up. Tough game for Ahn and well fought. Whether it was nerves or just not able to shift the pace towards his comfort level, not like he didn't give a good effort.
they play so smooth
Anh ho is the weak link.
Lol. 2nd game tony tried to take all the shots.

@@way231 I'm saying like if you saw him when he started out, he was just good among our players in the SD region but that literally meant very little at the time since there were no official badminton club with pros or pro instructors in it until only a few years ago when 2 clubs opened simultaneously in our region. Now we have a spawn of good players but I will always respect Anh for not having the tools or the luxury of pro instructors everyone else in the current era of players had but still getting up there. He's also a great guy and was always down to help players improve if asked. Also, you have to had met him back in high school to see how far he's come. I didn't meet him til 4 years after his high school and 6 years after mine which from that time til this video, he basically jumped another level entirely since then. Keep inspiring the locals Anh!
Tony's partner is not stable , too many mistakes....... Tony is too tired.....
I was watching the match and noticing that Tony's partner was making a lot of mistakes such as hitting bad quality smashes, falling for the typical serve receive trap, and hitting shots way too slow and flat, and just overall inconsistent and then I went to the comments to see others say the same and just to mention, I play worse than tony's partner
Tony's partner is not ready for this level of competition. His techniques and tactics are too unrefined. He doesn't know where to place the shuttlecock.
Too many errors from Tony's partner.. they cud've won the match

Yeah, if they scored more points, they would have won...
When your partner is Tony Gunawan but you aren't playing agressively at the front court is a wasted.. Coward and too much errors..
