Caught a mouse that I found in the house...and I gave him a cracker. And we all know, that if you give a mouse a cracker...

+fubukifangirl Well I had a talk with my aunt who's terrified of them, she says its from fear of where they'll go. YOu know, like uncertainty if they're gonna bolt up your pantleg or going to bite your toes, its that level of "they're very quick and unpredictable" For others it may be the misconception that "all mice carry diseases" which is horse hocky

I'd be weary of wild ones. But domesticated ones are very sweet most of the time. They're just hamsters with tails at that point.

Once me and my father were readying the grill after a long cold winter. Inside the grill under the plates a mouse mother had made a mest for her hairless babies. My dad was about to light up the grill before I told him to stop. The mom then got freaked and left through the bottom leaving the nest and babies behind. There were a lot od babies. So with a gloved hand I picked up the nest and moved it to a nearby rock wall. As my father cleaned the grill I watched as the mother came back for every single one of the babies. She then came back one last time to check the nest and to stare at me for a half a second before dissapearing into the rocks. It was something I will never forget.

If you think this is cute look at the KZread channel ''George Mouse''. Instead of catching/poisoning/trapping a group of mice living in his garden a photographer built them their very own (well protected from predators) town, Mouse Town. George was joined by Mildred and the first year they were there had Christmas babies. The original parents are now long gone but Mouse Town now has a number of houses and shops as well as other amenities and they pay for their rent and board (because he also supplies food from the wild/shops to them as well) to the owner by allowing him to video them as they go about their daily business.

Lovely! My Late Mother once rescued a Mouse from a Cat who spat it out but and we put him in an old Hammy carrier but after giving it a carrot it late died from shock (of course) :-( Poor thing had cat saliva on him. I tried rescuing another one from a Cat but didn't realise it was dying and bleeding in my hand ;-( Glad this one is healthy :-)

Cute does not equal safe. Those transmit plague in Alaska where I'm from. You should never handle a wild animal----ever! Nor should you even allow such creatures move into your home. Don't believe me? Google Tularemia. I can guarantee you'd never see mice the same way again.
