They’re nidifugous animals. It means that they gestate so long that the babies come out almost all grown up. Deer, horses, and cows are all nidifugous. :)

My Willimina had 5! She looked so relieved; she was big as a house towards the end of her pregnancy...

They really are super cute. I fostered a young pregnant mama and then kept them. Babies have so much energy, are playful and a little demanding, little cheeky things. Mine are grown now and very laid back. The babies are even cuter in person than even in pictures or a video♥🥰♥🥰♥🥰♥

I once bought a Piggy from a store and she turned out to be pregnant. She had 3 babies and i saw all of it. It was so cute and amazing.

I also can’t believe they can have even more than that with just two nipples. GP mommies work hard! 💕💜💙

It helps that the babies can and will eat solid foods within a few hours, and the aunties can help out with nursing duty!
