Even through the Admiralty system can be an annoying chore at times, the reward in dilithium helps. I do wish there was an auto select function for admiralty so that you don’t have to tend to it all the time. It would be a nice time saver.

Just spent about a month getting back into the game after more than a few years away (had some "maxed out" level 50 characters), was watching a few tutorial videos from you, and until this video just popped up in my feed I didn't even know this Admiralty system was even in the game. Thanks!

If you are F2P, buy *every* shuttle that is purchasable for EC on each toon that you are going to do admiralty on. These have a -25% Maintenance time for each ship on a mission. So if you can get to the mission stat requirement with just 2 ships, throw one of these shuttles in the 3rd slot and your ships will spend only half as long in maintenance. This will increase your mission throughput a lot. Likewise, buy the cheapest Dil ships just for the cards, some of them have useful bonuses.

When you get the Cross-Faction Flying Unlock with a KDF-Character to Level 65, you'll even have many more cheap options to balance your Admiralty card deck. I find the Starfleet T1-4 ships much easier to manage than the Romulan / KDF ones, because they have clear point preferences toward their career (blue card = adds to science).

@2:15 u ask about event stuff. Answer. It gives greater chance to crit the mission. If admiralty assignment main reward gives credits or dilithium. Crit for greater rewards. Event reward attached to assignment unaffected. Is already a big reward if present.

Also, the Ferengi Alliance branch is the best way to earn solid GPL (Gold Pressed Latinum). As a newbie, I get more here than through playing Dabo! 🤭 Also completing those Very Rare missions have a chance to drop single use T6 Admiralty Cards as well.

I recommend the type 8 or 7 shuttle I think as it adds +10 to all stats to other ships other than other shuttle craft its great for starters

Event Modifiers. The base line was 10 for each, the even modifier increased that to base 40 (+30). It is a difficultly increase and slows progression. A early player or new toon won't have a lot of ships so raising the difficulty from a combined 30 to a combined 120 forces them to commit more ships to a single admiralty mission. This is compensated for with higher crit chance (+100), the critical chance was increased by 100% or doubling the chance to make a critical and get more loot.

RE: Crit Rating increases the chance to crit the mission, which increases some rewards, but not all. Most importantly to me when doing alts, it does *not* increase the campaign XP (that's the name for the division between Fed, KDF, Rom, Fer; "campaign"), but it *does* grant a chance to receive pass tokens. If you notice, before you even slot any ships, that +100 crit rate from the event gives you 20% chance to crit. Every point by which you surpass the Engineering/Tactical/Science requirement of the mission adds one point to the crit rating of the mission. So if the mission is the 1 of 10 Tour of Duty, it requires 10 in all three areas, it has no event, and you do the mission with 20 Eng, 9 Tac, and 14 Sci, you will have 14 crit rating - but since you're 1 under the tactical, you'll have a chance to fail. I'm pretty sure critical rating suffers from diminishing returns, and is also proportional to the requirements of the mission. So on a 10/20/10 mission, 100 crit rating will go farther than on a 80/50/30 mission.

When I have a paper pushing admiralty for Dill Farming I tend go do Feringe that way I get the Dill pool and between this that increases you dill earned by 25%. Feringe and Klingon have the best Dill missions But KDF give fleet Dill refined vouchers which can only be donated to projects with out hitting up your ships stores . If the character is a dedicated farming character you will get all your daily dill just checking morning and evening remember dill rest is 5PM pacific time. When doing dill mission rewards I tend to try to get 30% to 50% doubling your Dill reward on a critical. Also do not over look the Shuttles they return after 5 min so they can be added alot to a mission you did not need a third ship to get the ship you are using back faster with 25% quicker cooldown or to almost double the crit chance with the x5% critical chance When looking at a mission do not forget the Event reward in the right corner. You will find some with a 500 1000 or 2000 when you do do not go for crit on these they do not double on critical unless there is a dill in the mission has a dill reward both ways. If you get locked down to no good dill options I always try to complete the lowest resource cost because no sense in waiting your time and it gets you closer to another specialization point. When doing tour of duty I try to use one time uses ships that way you are not waiting 24 hours then another 16 to 24 for ship cooldown it is one small trick to keep your best stuff going. I hope this helps some rookie admiral get there fleets running effetely

@@MCStu There are several other Free Admiralty Ships. USS Pastioc? From Time and Tide the first time you pick the Admiralty pack. Getting each of the factions Reputation to 10, not Tour of Duty, will get you a ship from that faction. Fed is the Rode Island. Gamma Recruit also gives one.

So looking for a clarification here... If you buy a ship and put it in drydock or delete it you still get the admiralty card? I'm completely maxed out on the number of ships I can have/buy at the moment, but wanting to try some of your tips with different ships...

When I do tours of deity I tend to use one time ships that way I am not tying up my ships with a cool down to a 24 hour mission then have an 18 to 24 hour cool odd after.

To those wondering about the T6 ship CARDS you can get with PPPs: They are better than ALL of T5 an lower and better than ... most of my T6 ships as though they're more of a "legendary ship card". That's how they feel to me anyway. They've been my "go to" cards since I first hit 50. Even the freebie one everyone gets. Good card.

When you get the free ones during the Phoenix events you get one everything you pick up a free box

The Event item is kind of like the "flavor" for the mission. The base mission will always have the same requirements but the Event that's added to the mission is random and will do various things such as add additional required points or reduce them, they can add additional rewards as well like EC and Dilithium ore. The event rewards will not be affected by hitting critical on the mission however so if the base rewards are not good then don't attempt to crit it because you get a 2k dilithium event reward.

This is one of the systems that I think needs the most work in STO. I was playing a long time ago when they changed from manually choosing doffs for doff missions to auto, that change was amazing. I really wish they did something similar with admiralty. I would love to see an auto-select for the minimum ships needed to get 100% success. If they want to profit, I think it'd be worth 4000 zen, as the Dil from admiralty is quite good. I don't every both with admiralty after reaching level 10 because they are too annoying to do. With 14 characters I could continually cycle between each char doing admiralty then repeat over and over and over again until I run out of ships, which would probably be about the entire day. No one has time for that and I'd probably end up injuring myself from falling asleep and then falling out of my chair.

I've got 4 ships through the admiralty system but I can't find the box I'm my inventory and yes checked my overflow bag

Those are one time use admiralty ship cards, not a ship you can fly.

Crit on Admiralty can give you double or triple dill or EC. Higher crit more chance to crit.

Can’t find mirror ships on the exchange. Can’t find ships period…
