😲Just rewatched and amazing.. Admiral and Admiral Sailsbury... love that Runabout... hmm just seen a video , that Danube Runabout the, front pilot area can detaches.. Holy Q, that is wicked.. wow!!! Video shows 10 features and just the thumbnail. shows the front detaching.. crikey!!! lol

The Danube class Runabout isn't really a shuttle. Shuttles and shuttlepods are named but carry the registry of the ship they're assigned to. Runabouts have individual USS names and their own NCC designations.

I really enjoyed this, I’ve always imagined this in my mind: a prime universe runabout in the late 24th century is on its way to somewhere, there is three individuals in it, the runabout whilst at warp hits some Subspace phenomena and gets slightly damaged and ends up in the mirror universe at 22nd century near earth orbit, the phenomenon causes massive damage to earth space dock and starship fleet yards, the runabout is somewhat damaged but warp capable, the mirror universe fleet want the ship and blood of the occupants of the Danube class runabout for destroying their base and yards, and basically your video is the result of what happens, the small ship manages to return to the prime universe via the tear in Subspace and then they get home and report on what happened. The end

To be honest I was overly anxious to see this video. And it was great how you managed to survive in a runabout. Very great job. I love it. This was an ode to your previous video as well. Which was runabout vs discovery ncc 1031.i loved both very much. This video is now my most favorite.

The Runabout's weapons are perfect for... running about... As far as power scaling over 100 years, this feels pretty realistic. They are almost an even match for each other even though their scale and power generation is far different simply due to the technology difference. It would have been a blowout win for the runabout if they had been fitted with quantums which isn't much of a technology leap from the Dominion war era. This fight twists the knife in my gut regarding the Delta Flyer vs Enterprise NX-01. The Delta Flyer should simply never have lost that fight without exception.

😲That Runabout is tough... yes thank you Admiral Salisbury for this.. Very nice Captain.. 1st battle tough little ship... and 2nd, well the ship is as good as the Helm is.. so well done Captain/Admiral, I was nervous for this video after re watching Picard for the 5th time.. lol... that was a battle and loved it.. thank you again..!!! Captain/Admiral...!!! 😊🖖

Been watching your videos for awhile now they are interesting. I do have a interesting challenge for you. Call it a "Beam Weapons Test" basically do a series based on Beam Weapons only. You've done lots with torpedoes and other weapons but hardly scratched the surface of beams only in a battle. I don't have bridge commander because of my old antique computer and by that I mean it's from the first of the year 1990's. Yes I know I'm a dinosaur and a procrastinator. So I am not sure if you can limit the weapons in that way. It would be interesting to see which species/race has the better beam Weapons in each era. This maybe a huge and undoable task but it is something to think about. A avid Romulan fans request. Also a smaller idea if it is possible The Gatling Phaser array from defiant class. Imagine if it was placed on a Romulan or Klingon ship.....would that change the outcome of a battle?

I enjoyed seeing your battle tactics in the Runabout and that definitely shows how the Human Factors can win better than the AI

Don't get me wrong, the runabouts are powerful for a small craft...but they are still pretty much just a small, lightly armed shuttlecraft on steroids. It just kinda makes me wonder a bit why they bothered to bring the runabouts with the USS Odyssey to the gamma quadrant for their first fight with the Dominion. Like the Jemhdar are going to be like " Oh shit! They brought 3 runabouts! What the hell are we gonna do now? Quick, kamikaze the big ship and mabie the runabouts will just leave!" Ha!

When you don't have enough phaser arcs, you lose DPS in the time not firing phasers. Lower the phaser power and you get a higher average damage (losing burst damage)

The Runabout is my absolute favorite small craft. If I was living in that era and I have the funds to travel in space I'd get a runabout and rig it all up for everything. 😅

Is it a bug that the enemy AI misses like 90% of it's phasers? I think it drains the fun of a good challenge against the enemy.

Inaccurate phasers is a mod, which unfortunately is on by default in kobayashimaru. I have spent years and many hours trying to disable it, but to no avail. The older version of kobayashimaru allowed you to disable it 😭

I thought the Runabout had 10 phaser banks? Two aft, one on the top and bottom forward of each nacelle and then there's supposed to be a phaser on port and starboard side of a protruding deal just before the doors. I honestly was a bit surprised you were able to destroy the Discovery Enterprise. Yes there's a technology gap between the two ships but the Runabout has limited weapons.

Wow! Well, there are different versions. From what I can find the Danube version has 6 phaser banks. 10 phaser banks is fighter territory!! Starfleet should make all shuttlecraft this powerful 🖖
