The Ultraboost 21 features a radical redesign that adds more boost and puts the shoe design more in line with other competitive running shoes. But the Ultraboost 20 is still a great shoe, and at Slickdeals we recently saw a pair of 20s go on sale for a staggering $67.50!

Best ultraboost 20 vs 21 comparison I've seen! Other reviews I've watched were so biased against the older boosts even if they are great shoes too anyway. This was the most objective one.

My Ultraboost 21 came in today. I have the triple whites in both the 21 and the 20. Sorry, but there's comparison. The 20s look much better. The 21s look like strictly running shoes and the material looks cheap despite the cloud white color. The 20s are much more versatile and just all around better looking. I'm returning the 21s.

@@CodeOfBorgia Yeah, they look good in pictures but the 20s don't look like running shoes. They're one of my favorite shoes and they look premium. Even more premium than shoes I paid over 400$ for. Very versatile, very well designed. The 21s just look like running shoes and that's all they're for. I can wear the 20s triple white with a suit. I can't even wear the 21 with jeans and a polo. The cloud white material looks cheaper and the recycling nature of it is too obvious. It looks like a plastic 3d printed shoe.

As an Adidas snob I own a lot of pairs of Adidas. Including the new ultra boost 21. I will say that the new version are a tighter fit. They weigh a gram more, but not a noticeable difference running. I prefer the heal in the 21 as it offers more support. I am with you on the new designed flats. Although they do have the continental rubber on the outside the inside is now Exposed more and only time will tell you how it holds up. The final question was it worth 180. I think it was I love the new design and the way it feels and as I stated before I’m an adidas snob!!

For me my boost on my nmd still hasn't worn down after 2 and a quarter years, and I use them every day.
I don't really mind the thick heels, but i do have 2 gripes (pun intended) about them: 1. Just like the Air Max 720, i feel like the huge heel will be inconvenient for driving. They make driving uncomfortable for me, and it gets tiring quick even though walking is mad comfortable. 2. The design of the heel area is very bland. Reminiscent of the OG, but way smaller and bland looking. And idk why, buy the fact that the cage is not connected to the midsole is bothering me so much

To sum it up, the 21 is better for running and the 20 is best for general walking, driving, etc. 21's have a thick sole which is better for running despite being heavier. Being heavier makes the 20 better for walking and other daily things.

i don't like the plastic lining in the inside at the toe, the new knit threw me off. but they do feel tighter and more support at the heel. i haven't tested them at work yet which is going to really tell me how i feel about them since I'll be on my feet for 11+ hours. i have the 19's and 20's which feel identical to each other, and i love them. the 20's are pretty much perfect.

@@prosperandgamble I don't wear them. it can be a combination of my pinky toe being a lil mess and the edge of the liner. but it only affects my left foot. so I think I'm going to try and modify the plastic so it's less obnoxious. but the soles are super. I'd find out about the return policy where ever you buy them from.

Like for that acting and coordination. I have the UB20 and have tried the UB21 (waiting for a sick deal), but to me, the biggest difference is actually the fact that toe area is more stiffer/harder to bend. This is actually very important and overlooked especially if you're a runner who lands on your toe. The UB20 was too soft, so you strain your toes more easily. The UB21 provided greater bounce as you landed. Also, the angled heel make it better for regular walking when you land on your heel, as you distribute the force over a circular area, rather than a single point of contact on the UB20.

YUP! UB21 sucks as bad as UB19. Went a mile out, turned around and came back home. Could tell REAL quick these ain't worth a flip. Put on my Nimbus 22, and went back out for another couple miles---NO PROBLEMO. Never again, adidas. Good thing I got these cheap. Size 12 UB21 for sale!

both are nice about comfort but 21 is heavier and imo 20 is nicer for walking around all day.
