Thank you Seth for reviewing these. I've been wanting a review on these
Nice to see a calmer edit, without the unneeded effects and cuts. Thanks!
It fits a little snug versus the Ultraboost 22, and because of that, it is less ventilated for my size 8.5 I prefer last year's Primeknit. It was soft and comfortable and still had a perfect lockdown.
I know I've said this in a couple other people's videos but I love that for this new change they went with the OG energy boost colorway... I think that was done on purpose since this marks 10 years of boost with Adidas

Thank you for the review, now I can finally decide between, Ultraboost 23 and ZoomX
I actually remove that mid lace part of the shoes and keep it plain, the comfy levels goes to the roth!! Truly recommend, gotta be easy and slow when removing it but works flawlessly 🤩
Shoutout to u seth great content keep up the good work. My apthcry hoodie i ordered is on the way!!
Ultraboosts are generally very light sneakers, many reviewers tend to emphasise them as being heavy. If you compare them to actually heavy sneakers like the air force 1’s or boots/ shoes..Ultraboosts are like feather. They are only on the heavy side when comparing to running shoes. The fact that the Ultraboosts 23’s have boosts tech which is 30% lighter, it puts it back in line of being one of the lightest on the market. Comfort wise and durability wise for running sneakers, nothing out there beats the Ultraboosts in my opinion. I’ve been wearing Ultraboosts since they first came out, the only reason why I own other sneakers is to broaden my styling to wear with my clothes
Can't wait for the next top ten most comfortable. The asic shoes you recommended on the last list have gotten me through work with no problems whatsoever.
I’ve recently discovered the Solarglide line. Half the price (outlet mall pickups), pretty, and works well for running. Might even be better for running than UBs, which are a bit more lifestyle depending on the model and wear level.

I got a solar control and 100% the ultraboost are more comfortable.
I agree these are the most comfortable Ultraboost shoes for me too, (I have UB 21, 20, 19, 5.0, 4.0 and 2.0) but it also gives a bit of support which really makes a difference when you stand for long periods of time.

Heyy, how is the sizing compared to the UB 19. I am trying to upgrade would appreciate if you could help out. 45 1/3 in ub19 and they are a bit loose, 44 2/3 probably my tts in ub 19. What should I get for UB 23
Big runner, and I've been in the Adidas Solarglides (ran in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th) for a handful of years now. For an everyday, easy-run running shoe, its pretty solid. I was always weary of how thick boost wast, although most running sneakers are heading in that direction now (the new asics gel nimbus is a sight to behold). Would def try this shoe, once i burn through my current solarglides.

@@MadLadsAnonymous I would use a different shoe for walking! These, while i love for my easy runs, they can be a little klunky. I like that for my easy runs, but i prefer something lighter when I'm walking, just my opinion. Still has great control and cushioning.
My pair of Ultraboost Light comes today. I'll be getting many colourways. Also yes the price has gone up by $10. I'm in Canada so they cost $260 in Canadian dollars.
I just got this pair in the other early release colorway and even though it’s not the best long distance running shoes, it is significantly way lighter than previous iterations. The price is quite steep considering what you’re getting but if you don’t own a ‘21 or ‘22, you’ll find this worth it. Comfort-wise, it’s even better due to the reduced weight and I went true to size.

@@varcity23 I’m mainly a midfoot striker so after a couple kms, I start to feel some discomfort as these shoes still lack the right amount of midfoot cushioning for me hahaha but you’re right, boost’s longevity and responsiveness even after years for me still makes it the best cushioning technology out there.

@@joshmarts18 I guess my feet are stronger. I train also in barefoot shoes. So I guess don’t feel any discomfort. But yeah. All my old ultraboost still feel good lol
FYI, since you mentioned not knowing how they measure a foam's response performance, among the ways to do so is a ball bearing bounce test, measuring how far back up it bounces from a drop.... as seen in videos from Foot Doctor Zack.
With That Being Said Thanks for the review
Any ideas if this is good for wide footers with flat feet? Is the insole glued in? Can I insert my own or an custom orthotic? Would love for you to cover these questions in future reviews. Thanks.
I bought the ultraboost light, and honestly didn't expect much from it, but boy oh boy was I mistaken. Light Boost is genuinely bouncy, noticeably more bouncy than nike react or cushlon foams and unlike them the light boost has not creased a single bit. The LEP plate doesn't really do much in my opinion but I have seen many reviewers say there is not enough foam for mid foot to forefoot strikers, while it's true while ur striking fore foot, striking mid foot there is plenty for long runs.
I got this adidas ultraboost light a couple weeks ago and I realized how , compared to the Nike invincible 3, it was not that soft and was really hard and the stack height was way lower. So I like this adidas shoe I lot but my problem is that it doesn’t offer enough stack height foam for the price (280AUD, idk how much that is in America but it’s expensive) I think for that price it should have more stack height, especially the forefoot. But other than that, it was very comfortable and versatile and I love the prime knit
I have a question are you normally wear a size 10 to 11 I’m not 100% sure on my foot size but I do know I have a wide, but what size would you recommend would be safer I have a slight ankle problem
Which shoe is more comfortable and fun for running and walking Adidas Boost Lite or Nike Invincible 3?
I thought these were my most comfortable shoes until I got a a pair of Nike invincible zoomx and I was blown away by them but the ultaboost are great shoes
should i go for ub 22 at 130 dollars for a lifestyle comfort wear , I originally wanted to go for nb 1080 v12 since I have a bit of wide feet but they are not available in my country .
The original Ultra Boost lines (1.0 through 4.0) are just perfect. You can’t improve on that level of perfection. Most comfortable and best looking running shoe of all time.

i switched from Ultraboost 21 to Hoka Tecton X and immediately switched back to Ultraboost light. the comfort and bounce is the way to go. but sprinting fast on these shoes is really not possible. i really want to try the vaporfly 2 but my competition is near and i just want a safe bet given my horrible feel on carbon plate shoe from hoka.
If ur heavy into running marathons this ain't it. But for lifestyle , casual to a gym goer and doing 5k on a daily basics or taking a walk to the park it does the job well enough. The boost has been a lifestyle shoe quite a while now. On an off days it's a solid pair to give ur feet some rest.
I think they should shift some of that heel stack forward

I haven’t tried these but I don’t think they will beat the X_PLR Boost.
Just copped a pair for 61$ out the door, 70% here at the outlets in central California
Is Ultraboost 1.0 the exact sizing with X_plrboost, Sir? I'm flat-footed. 7 UK in Ultraboost 1.0. I would like to know what size fits me the best for X_plrboost. Thank you in advance. :)
I wish they would just go back to the Ultraboost 19 or more primeknit DNA/retros of the 19
Would be great if you did a video of recommending comfortable shoes based on different price points. 50$,100$,150$ etc. Cheers 🥂
I think that they are suitable for some running and still look quite cool is great. That way you can use them for recovery runs and in day to day use, while you have another pair of more serious running shoes for the more intense runs.

@@lucasmonteiro600 Depends on what you want. I have expanded my collection... IMHO the upper on the UBs is hard to beat, however the shock absorbtion isn't that great. The X_PLR BOOST are much softer, though they cost more effort to walk in and the upper is just so so. For running I use the Boston 12, which are pretty great. For running. Not for walking.
So Ultraboost light or Invincible 3?
I like that Adidas continues to tweak Boost to make it perform better. I'll eventually pick up an Ultraboost Light when they go on sale (they always do). That said, the weight of the Ultraboosts never bothered me, probably because I've come to expect that Boost-based shoes tend to be on the heavier side. One good side effect of Adidas releasing the UB Light is that the UB 22s can be had for a substantial discount. 😁
I want a return of the ultra boost uncaged so bad
Try the ultra boost light and the Nike zoomX invisible in the store and after that you can decide. Thank you and you are welcome. I tried both and honestly I am big fan of adidas but this time Nike is much better and comfortable.

I bought an Ultraboost 22 and it's made in China, it has Qr code . Do you think it's original?
Felt like the Ultraboost was very expensive because it was super modern and popular when it launched. Yet even when it wasnt popular anymore, the price never changed. Adidas refused to lower the price, and now they just keep increasing it instead

I have some zeebras and ultraboost 22, the yeezys boost is softer, for daily use I prefer them, but for running ultraboost is clearly ahead. When you stand still with the ultraboosts, it kinda starts burning the feet.
It looks like you have a ton of foam under the heel but the sad part is that ur not sitting on all of it, a bunch of it is on the side walle providing "support". So you really only have about 30mm of foam under the heel, same as the pegasus 39, so the ultraboost isn't even a max cushioned shoe.

boost is dead imo
This shoe is a lie. The original Ultraboost had stack height: 20mm heel and 10mm in the toe. UB19 and 20 are generally regarded as the most comfortable had 20% more Boost with stack height: 30mm heel and 20mm in the toe. UB 21 and 22 had 7% more Boost, but the same stack height: 30mm heel and 20mm in the toe. The extra Boost was on the sides of the shoe to give it more stability at the expense of softness. These UB23 only have a stack height: 22mm heel and 12mm in the toe. This whole "Light Boost" is BS. From initial leaks the outside is a carrier foam of Lightstrike (which is just TPU) and the inside is Boost, but less of it. So really the reduction in weight is actually attributed to less Boost and not some sort of actual new Boost material. This is shrinkflation, but in the sneaker market!
I’ve been seen this channel a long time ago and just realized i wasn’t subscribed 🤦🏻♂️😅
Disagree about the DNAs. They are better for me then the originals. Better heel and ankle fit.

2:10 that's not true. Every single boost sneaker has a different boost hardness and composition. There are many tests around youtube comparing them. Being yeezys most of the time the softest.
