We know that adults with ADHD often experience impaired emotional regulation, and children with ADHD are no different. Big emotions are a signal from your child that mean "I'm overwhelmed!"
When your child's school reports increased emotional behaviours, it can be hard to focus the the action plan on supporting their needs around ADHD, rather than ending the behaviour, as it was with Eran's son.
