If you are 49, then take the medication.
I recently had an ambulatory 96hr eeg to see if seizures were a cause of cognitive issues I’m having. I have a health condition the reduces blood flow to the brain and I have adhd, however even those combined issues do not reach the level of episodic cognitive issues I’m experiencing and it’s keeping me from being able to work. Question for you: is there anything in particular I should ask my neurologist about in regards to the test and my results that could show activity pointing to adhd vs other cognitive issues? I pressed a button during the episodes so he knows when they occurred. Would it just be excessive theta waves? Or a specific part of the brain like frontal lobe? I would appreciate help with questions to ask as this doctor does not seem very adhd friendly and I know that if I do not specifically ask smart questions, he will not reveal any of that information to me.

Hi Bri, it is really hard for me to answer that question without knowing more about the situation. If I saw your EEG I could give you some impressions. It seems as if you would be a great candidate for my Remote Neurofeedback program. The details are below. I could set you on a healthy path if we worked together. I'm not trying to sell you a program, it is just that I am not able to give you specific suggestions without knowing more. drtrishleigh.com/peak-performance-brain-training/

@@DrTrishLeighBrainRewire Thank you for your reply, I understand. I'll consider it. Thanks for the work you do!
Do you think there is a genetic reason for adhd in the same way people are evenly born as guy's/girls? There's a lot of things that seem to occur so frequently and so replicable that it must either be a really easily messed up gene or there for practical reasons. Edit: it looks like it is genetic and a gene mutation, so probably not desired in nature
Wait your brain is supposed to be calm and focused?? 😬
Not a disorder. It’s just a brain in theta. Creative global left brain more in contact with dream state aka creativity on tap! It’s just society expects conformity to alpha waves and right brain as benchmark.

right brain is more creative, left brain is more analytical alpha wave state
