Social media leads to more of this cus u grow up with it as a tool for socialization, its crazy bc the apps were designed more as marketplaces not socializing which is crazy because it leads to narcissistic traits within people if used purely for socializing
Qurantine also led to higher usage
30 day breaks from self pleasure, explicit images, illegal drugs, and alcohol will change your in a positive way. Your self image will improve.
Gaming is addictive but it's good faster reflexes eye and hand coronation and online games can help with social skills(mostly for introverts)
Hey doc, can you do a video on reels in particular? I deleted all my apps with anything resembling reels/tiktoks (KZread, Instagram, Snapchat, etc). I stopped those and I feel normal again. Driving better and more attentively, feel super productive at work, better and more "personal" social interactions, to name a few. Ive also noticed people who are on social media all the time can NOT maintain eye contact or convey ideas properly. My language is also way less vulgar and concise. I also find it hillarious to have people have to explain influencer current events to me and see their shock when I have no idea what theyre talking about.
I suffer from GAD and high anxiety. I am home bound and have family bullying me.
Do you think online learning and education plays into this?
It's been almost 20 days since I left corn and life has never been better. Positive changes I feel - 1) started reading 30-60 minutes 2) Workout 1 hour everyday at least . 3) NEVER USING INSTAGRAM ,TWITTER, CORN EVER AGAIN ! 4) My head feels light and feel sharp . 5) The only app I use on my phone is youtube and only for long form of content
Great news brother! Congratulations to you, these changes are awesome!
@@shay-doran yes . Now my next challenge is to stop my phone usage and live life like I used to in 2016 .
@@aryansaini11lily84 Let's go brother! I found an app called Clearspace has helped me quite a lot with that
Beautiful.. Stay the course, my friend!
@@DrTrishLeighBrainRewire I feel very frustrated do you have any recommendation
Men turn to their screens - to relieve their loneliness - and you can't cure that doctor !
3:06 great advice except for the fact that the app is designed to treat the user like a lab rat test subject. It’s best to just delete the app and not even be on there
Thank you <3
thank you for these videos
This is true. I did a media fast and noticed within a 24 hour period a Huge psychological difference in behavioral and thinking patterns. Best way to describe it is imagine you have a bad headache and you take Tylenol and you can feel it lifting. The best side effect is a higher productivity level. I believe the internet as a whole has algorithms designed more to hurt you than assist you. Essentially it's a weapon used by people for nefarious ends.
What constitutes "high" for any given band? What constitutes "flat"?
I had panic attacks for years and found out it's because I had undiagnosed sleep apnea for years. After about a year with a CPAP they went away and I went right back to my old ways. Drinking way too much, ignoring my need for sleep, and surprise, surprise, my panic attacks are back. I have a lot on the line and I need them to go away asap. I'm willing to make the changes. Aside from stopping drinking, what else can I do?
Love the blouse. Love the frills. It gives me ideas.
Trish, you know my wife would never let me work with you to try and get a hard on. I suspect you would never let it happen either and you’d turn me to your “team”. You are the promoter of the outfit. But Trish, there is a new woman I have run across, her name is Arica Angelo. She really is that woman. You should tell your partner. If he has ever imagined a woman telling him what to do and how to do it, have him turn on her. She might be “the one”. As my failed Harvard doctor used to call it.
Kinda a dumb video. Do you mean if it works, people change how they think about it. Shocking.
Switch the phone and laptop off, sit in silence and allow your brain the recover.
What is the box method ?

Screens are great company - different if you've got five kids !
I would be lost without my screens. Unlike so called "real" girls, the women on the screen don't make me feel erelevant.
Is this safe to use if you have a history of seizures/ epilepsy?
Can this help someone who suffers from functional neurological disorder?
Do screen time effects decrease if i lower my screen brightness? What if i work with my laptop outside in nature? Will that help? What if I work in an area with a bunch of windows and sunlight?
Do you think even modern politics can have the same effect, due to the nature of it and how people feel a sense of productivity with it?
It's not as east as saying don't use it not when it becomes an addiction that's difficult to break away fromm I've been reminded many times by others to find other distractions bur they failed to mention what these were abd so for me reaching for my phone under 30 seconds every hour of the day is way too much and I truly wish I could break free or cut down my time on a phone or tablet screen the latter using it for other purposes I'm ashamed to mention
My life is consumed by screens.
Sitting here in underwear, one foot in my jeans wondering why I’m scrolling and not getting dressed.
thank you
I know I've had addictions to the internet for which I've has 26 weeks of counselling locally with perhaps a chance of a few more sessions in September 2024
I've listened to alpha and beta waves in some other videos online but u found it would bringv me brain dog and the inability to think clearly and even sometimes rationally I think very often sticking to everything you're teaching viewers of your videos is the only and correct method I hope you'll allow me to say
What is Headband..?
I wish and hope against or with hope that my brain will fully recover from all the things it's been subject to taking in I need to zone out or as you say takr a break from all my screens and including tv
Is it something related to long covid

Tentoj t'kuptoj zemra po po degjoje kte kuicin zemra... ne rregull.
Was diagnosed with adhd and I’m wondering if I was misdiagnosed. And it’s mostly anxiety . 😥 Am anxious about being misdiagnosed
The theory that the mind is syncing to screen refresh rate thus gets more fatigued seems to be related to CRT displays. Modern displays have the opposite effect. Typically a 120Hz screen is perceived as more relaxing and pleasant than a 60Hz one.
What is your opinion on watching normal movies (batman etc) how often in a week should you watch it ?
Honestly, whenever you feel like it! If you’re in the mood for some epic hero action, just dive in!
@@DrTrishLeighBrainRewire what about dopamine will it have any negative effects on it or there is no problem

“Much too much” *me thinking she’s gonna say screen time* “slow processing speed”
Is this of Muse or Myndlift?
The irony is, with me, that when I use internet my brain speeds up and gives me anxiety, my whole body changes.
