Adenium Root Training From Early Stage | Grow Radial Roots In Adenium | Happy Gardening
Hey Everyone, Welcome back to my channel. This is an arabicum palnt. Today I'm going to show you how to grow the radial roots of an arabicum plant.
Now I'm taking this plant out of its existing pot and knocking off all its media.
I'll wash the root under running water.
This plant is looking really beautiful. But I've to cut their leaves to avoid dehydration. Let's cut those leaves.
Here I'm cutting this plant and applying fungicide on the cutting edges.
Leave this plant in the shade to dry and repot after 10 days.
Here you can see two plants. This one is dried for 10 days and this plant isn't dried yet. When the newly cut will be dried like the other one, it will be ready to repot.
Here you can see the difference side by side.
Let's plant that dried one now.
Some people like to keep thermocol or plastic under the plant. I did without that and it worked really well for me. let's keep the pot in the shade and spray water to keep the media moist.
Here I've another plant which I planted almost 3 months back. Now I'll uproot wash and trim its leaves and unwanted roots. Leave in a room for 10 days and plant after that. Let's see the process.
This plant is already dried and I'm going to plant this one. I'll show you the update and what to do next in another video.
That's all for today. Thanks for watching. Don't forget to like, share and subscribe. Happy Gardening.

The crown-like shape of these plants is a result of their diverse characteristics, specifically, their Arabicum variety. Arabicum plants are relatively rare and expensive. Typically, Arabicum plants are not pruned, but there are certain conditions under which pruning may be necessary.

Roy it will be very helpful if you would also mention the age of the plant so we would know when to do the procedure with our plants 🙏🏻

Thank u for your opinion. You can cut your plant for root training once they are around 6/7 months old. ❤️

Mr Roy, I am a student of yours trying to master adenium The adenium you're holding in your hand in start, how old is it? Did it grow to this shape naturally? or you did any trimming/root cutting? Thanks very much sir.

It's barely impossible to get that shape naturally.. when your arabicum is 7/8 months old, you need to cut the plant and apply fungicide and let it dry in shade before planting. You will find detailed information in my videos. But feel free to ask me questions..

@@h.mutawa866 I sold that plant, so I don't know how it looks now. I have some other examples of root training. You should try root training with obesum and cheaper plants first.
Which kind of poting mix you use for root traind plants?

I truly appreciate your interest in purchasing, but the distance between us is quite substantial. There is a risk of the plants getting damaged during transit, and, equally significant, I haven't expanded my plant sales to a worldwide reach just yet.
