If I remember correctly, this did very successful in sales and was the reboot (not story wise) that MK deserved. Now we have the NRS era with devs who think that Sindel was a thot and a legion of Mileena fan virgins giving Ed Boon death threats. As fun as and awesome looking as the current MK games are, I still miss the Midway era. Good thing the fans are keeping the old games alive with hacks and M.U.G.E.N.

(Afro Samurai for example.) But, to their credit MKX's story tailer used Chop Suey, so at least someone over there has good taste in music.

Five games ago, NetherRealm Studios (originally Midway) used this song for the fifth game in the Mortal Kombat series, Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. I would love it that if five games later, they reused this song in Mortal Kombat X. It fits the series very well, and is definitely a favorite among MK fans.

I remember Singing this with a Friend in Elementary School ... Ah Nostalgia.

14 years later. If this music was played to now-a-days youth, they would hate it. How fascinating the Times, they do change.

Kronika hated the original timeline soundtrack so she when she made the the new one she replaced it with trap music. Good thing Liu Kang killed her.
