My very first vehicle i got as a kid was an 86 chevy. This friend of mine made me a cd of all her favorite songs so I could "rock" out in my fresh new truck. I remember loving this song. Played it over and over. As time went by i forgot about this song and for years I couldn't remember who was the artist or the name of the song. I totally agree, gives me goose bumbs and brings back old memories!

Jonathan Davis was right. There hasn't been anything unique and different like this, and this is why I always go back to these albums. They were so unique back then. Even though there are some good bands out there today, nothing is even remotely close to being a new sound like this music.

For me it’s the never ending war with the angry me. I can keep it locked up fairly well but every now and then I feel it creep back in before i banish it again. It’s always there in the background I just choose not to listen to it. As I’ve aged it’s lost it’s power quite a bit but it’s still in there

Man. One of greatest songs to ever come across my ears. As a kid and as an adult. It’s a masterpiece.

정말 오랜만에 듣는 노래입니다. 당시에 afkn라디오에서 처음 들었을때 빠져들었던 노래였는데 유투브 덕분에 다시 듣습니다. 정말 좋습니다.

I forgot about this song until tonight. I can't tell you how many times I listened to this song throughout my drug addiction. I'm almost 17 months clean and listening to this now gives me chills but it has a lot of good meaning for me in good ways. Much love to Adema. I really dig this song and listening to it sober still gives me goosebumps but in good ways. Anyone struggling out there we do recover. Believe in yourself and keep fighting. Never give up.

No matter how many years passes by. Always gives me same feelings.

Some lash out at God for letting life be like this but you will also find that life is filled with suffering for a purpose and that is to indicate the need for him. Some pain will never stop until the end but when you are at peace with that fact you will be able to find joy within the suffering itself. After this we will never be human again so find peace early on and you'll endure all the suffering in the world to the end, salvation is given freely and must also be accepted freely, the easiest thing but also made impossibly hard and the only one standing in our way is ourselves so it is necessary to sacrifice all of the parts of you that are in the way of that goal. Then in the end you'll be ready to face what happens next.

I remember so well when Marc Chavez said “Giving In” is about personal demons like alcohol and drug abuse. Few years later I became addicted to prescription pain medicine. This song and my own personal experience is the reason why I became a Substance Abuse Counselor. I love Adema for life♥️

Just seen this band at Lashbaugh's West in Frostburg, MD last night. They still rock out like time stood still. Great band that truly appreciates the fans. Get out there and see them if you have not!

Fk Dude, hoobastank, Adema, system of a down, tool, rage against the machine, Better than Ezra, blink 182, Taproot, primer 55, Toadies, static X.... fk I could go on(RIP to all we have lost)They are all still in my playlists. Dude the 90s and early 2000s will never be out done!! The music was so much more, You felt it through lyrics and instrument. Just one song could be the difference between life and death when we were young. My opinion, MOST of Todays Music is dead compared to the grundge bands and early alternarive rock and metal, Damn we called mudvayne, slipknot etc...Just Metal not heavy lol the days of being young!!! Nostalgic feelings everytime I hear it, Makes me wana cry. Some of the best times and memories were had to some of these songs.

Adema was the first concert I ever went when I was 12. I had the privilege of listening to this song live then and its still as impactful as it was then. Absolutely amazing

adub4ever what's so frustrating for this band is they have put out good music consistently. Even with new singers, each record is Adema at its core but different. Unstable was the band spreading their wings, Planets was more experimental, Kill The Headlights was epic in sound. Even Topple the Giants had some good songs.

I been hooked to this song for the last couple of days!, i have heard 'The Way You Like It' before but when i came across this one and 'Immortal' i was really amazed! 🤘

When I was 13 the first metal record i bought was Hybrid Theory. I then bought Ademas first album not long after and loved both. Then 11 years later i was at download festival completely wasted when Korn were playing but something told me to check out their music album by album, I only remember freak on a leash and very vague memories of here to stay when i was 11-12 ish. Now I'm absolutely obsessed with Korn 5 years on from that download festival. I listen to every record, all the b sides, their music pretty much is the soundtrack of my early life.....

If this band would have stayed together they could have made it big. Adema self titled album was gold. I loved every song. I really wish these guys couldda seen the real music industry. They had so much potential

Back when September 11th was super fresh in my middle school mind. This song definitely encompassed the mood of those days. A dark shadow was in the air and this song felt like a much needed escape!

Such a powerful song. Great Band. Doesn't get any better than the 90's into 2000 era music. Wow.

Mark Chavez is back in the band! Apparently an album is supposed to come out by the end of the year. But its glad to see the original crew back at it. He sounds better than ever if you check out their 1st live show back together. Really happy with this, nostalgia trip also :)

Ya this Era was great. First time people expressed there negative emotions. Which is a big part of letting go and growing.

Just saw Adema - again - in Houston. They are still killing it. Now my 10 year old daughter is into them!

This brings SO MUCH MEMORIES when i was 17 or 18... Drinking, skating, tony hawk pro skater, black clothes all day everyday and girls!!

I miss This Adema, Mark Chavez was such a talent.

This band should have been much bigger. Underrated.

Damn. I remember the first time I heard adema. Fell asleep watching mtv2 when I was a kid. Woke up to one of their videos thinking Korn had a new video out. Surprise surprise. It’s his brothers band.

This song has been with me through teenage decadence. This song has been forgotten by me but not for long. This song has been rediscovered over and over. It has been shared over as well. This is the song of my youth, my love,my life this song is beyond.

One of the best songs ever written. Still haunting my soul 'till this very day. Good concept of the video as well; what addiction leads to, whether it's sex, drugs, alcohol, smoking,. I get chills everytime I listen to it.

Just met these guys in person! They randomly walked into the resturaunt that I work in. Totally awesome and humble group of guys! I totally fan-girled! This album got me through some very dark times!

Man for SURE. And I dont even think it was because he was related to Jonathon Davis from Korn(I think that came out after they kind of got big). Im pretty sure I was in 8th grade when this came out. Whew...
