Some things don’t “heal.” Sometimes you just learn to live with it. Thats not healing. Thats just adapting. 🤷🏼

I so agree with you. He is so young and hasn’t learnt this yet. You just learn to live with a situation the way it is as you cannot change it anymore 😢

Exactly - some types of grief are forever and change you as a person. Guess it’s good kid don’t know that yet. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. What doesn’t kill you doesn’t always make you stronger. That is a myth - and the type of wisdom that can only come with age.

Don't underestimate this woman. Her voice is "once in a lifetime" & just sensational. She is also a very funny lady with amazing rapport with her audience

I remember this album dropped and sold 3M first week in the US. Adele does crazy numbers.

You can miss someone and regret your actions for the rest of your life. You do not get over everything with time. You can love someone and be sorry for what you did to hurt them and miss them always. Time may ease the pain, but it is always there. I miss someone every day and dream of him often but cannot do anything about it now, that time has passed but it doesn’t make it not hurt anymore. You are so young, you will learn this for yourself.

I so agree. The love of my life and I loved each other deeply, but we just couldn't make it work. We stayed close friends and then I heard he passed from cancer. The last words we spoke to each other was "I love you". I have been single for 34 years, and will remain that way until the end of my life. I am grateful that I still see him in my dreams.

In the palace of your mind there is a room for every memory, every moment in your life, every person, every encounter. The doors to these room can stay open or you can close them, but you are not able to lock those doors, ever. You can revisit any room anytime, or you can keep those doors closed until the day you die. Avoiding confrontation is not closure, it’s avoidance. The memory is too painful, the anger still being dredged up. The door to those memories is nearly busted in from your slamming yourself into that room, not to reminisce but to find a reason to justify your anger, your recusal of participation in the situation. Sometimes visiting the room too often causes the memories to shift and your’e stuck in an alternate memory that is stopping you from closing that door. Trying to repair the past is impossible, you cannot change what has already happened. But sometimes, in order to close that door and move on down the hall to new rooms, people have to find forgiveness, first for themselves, and then, for others. Forgiveness doesn’t mean forgetting what has happened, mistakes and misunderstandings happen and we have to accept that and move on. Only genuine evil cannot be evil, and most people are not truly evil. Only with real healing can that door be gently closed, and only then can you move on. In this song they’re both not ready to close the door, but for different reasons.
