This song meant a lot to me when I broke up from my son's father. I had my son at 19 and was so young and inexperienced. I didn't get the time to grow up. I tried so incredibly hard to keep my little family together. When the father of my son wanted to leave and move back to his home town (3 hours away), I left everything behind to join him (with my son). I gave everything I had and everything I was. After 5 years, I had to break free to not drown. The lyrics are literally as if I had written the words myself. Most days it's TOO hard to listen to it. ❤️
