Fun fact, she doesn't use auto tune or any kind of pitch correction on her records. Its probably why people like her so much , she sounds like a real person, unlike the majority of modern pop singers.

The video of her stopping the show to stand up for the guy in the crowd is so sweet, I love her! If you're looking for more songs from her I'd recommend When We Were Young, Skyfall, and Set Fire To The Rain!

Chester Bennington had a great cover of this song out. The guy used to sing it at Linkin Park concerts with piano accompaniment.

Adele has written so many great songs, you can't really go wrong if you want to see more. My favourite is Someone Like You live at the Brit Awards in 2011. Just her and a piano. Rips your heart out.

If I recall correctly, she was asked to do the super bowl a few years back... she turned it down, because most of her songs are like this, break-up/power ballad type songs. It's also kinda joked about what do you do (as an audience memeber)... like just bawl your eyes out and yell the lyrics? She is an amazing performer/writer... one of those amazing talents.

Easy on Me was also FIRE 🔥 After her divorce this is Her "Set Me Free" song. And if you can find any clips from her One Night Only special from the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles. The special won five awards from five nominations at the 74th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, a Directors Guild of America Award, and it earned a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best Music Film at the 65th ceremony.

Adele is an OG from the UK who's literally worked her ass off from open mics in bars and clubs to reach where she is today with her residency in Vegas. Regardless of whether people like it or not, she deserves the respect and still remains as grounded as she can given her success!

Linkin Park did a hell of a cover of this song which surprised even me, and I'm a diehard fan of Chester's voice. May he rest in peace . Also, Kelly Clarkson slayed this AND Set Fire to the Rain on her show!

“Set Fire To The Rain” is AMAZING in the Live version. Adele was set to start her residency in LV, and just nights before it was set to start, she pulled the plug. People were FURIOUS! But, she regrouped, and she came back, and from EVERYTHING I have heard, her Las Vegas residency that she’s now doing is one of the absolute best people have EVER seen. I would LOVE to go. You might like “What Was I Made For” by Billie Eilish or “Vampire” by Olivia Rodrigo… two that are out right now that have really gotten a lot of attention. Also, Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” and “Used To Be Young.” All female songwriters. And, Billy Joel came out with a new one after 30, yes THIRTY years of not having his own song out called “Turn The Lights Back On.” FABULOUS!!! And, if you’re up for the challenge, try Hardy (Michael Hardy) and his song with Lainey Wilson, “wait in the truck,” Lainey’s “Heart Like a Truck” or “Watermelon Moonshine,” or see what rapper and now country artist Jellyroll is doing in “Son of a Sinner,” “Save Me,” (with Lainey Wilson) or “Need a Favor.” (If you can’t tell… I love a variety of music.)

I think this song was her breakthrough single. It was my introduction to her.

I feel like this is one of those songs where it doesn't matter what genre of music you like, once you hear it you just know this is a generation defining composition. Cliff, you're an awesome human, keep going my man, I appreciate you, much love

She's amazing. There's only one Adele. I'm a metalhead and there's no way Adele doesn't get me out of my seat, every time! I'd go see her in a heartbeat

I've never been into pop music. I had no idea who Adele was until she sang the theme song for the James Bond movie Skyfall. I had to check her out after that. She has such a powerful voice! Her lyrics tug at my heartstrings. Like you said, her songs relate to so many of us. I was in my mid 50's when Skyfall came out, so I'm even older now. I just love her voice, so natural too. Her voice gives me goosebumps too, every damned time!

You should check out her live performance from a German radio station, if I had to bet she was still unknown at the time, suddenly people are showing up in the back of the studio in awe.

Have a look at her Tiny Desk performance. She is the real deal. Very down to earth too. Very genuine. You could pick any song by her to react to. They are all great. There's no Auto tune for her. She won't have any of it. If you do another one by her. Try to get a live performance. Adele is even better live.

Her singing voice has such clarity, but you should hear her having a regular old conversation! I’m not sure if it’s considered Essex English, but it’s a very cheeky way of speaking and the most infectious laugh.

Adele wrote the theme song to the James Bond movie "Skyfall". The song has the same title and it's definitely worth a listen, especially the official video where you get the movie clips.

The other artist who is very fan supportive is Gloria Estefan. When she was still Miami Sound Machine, after Conga was popular, she was performing at a small venue with a rotating stage. During one sing a fan jumped on stage and started dancing with her. Security literally threw him off the stage. She stopped the show and told security if he wants to dance with her, let him. And he got back on stage for that in song. I loved her voice before that, but afterwards I was also fan of her as a person. Plus she writes her own songs.

This was played on many radio stations a hell of a lot when it came out, since, and it still gets played quite a bit now, like I heard it last week... and I don't listen to those stations most of the time because I lean more towards alternative and rock. I can only imagine just how often it was and is actually played.
