Adele - Easy On Me (Louis La Roche '1988' Remix)
Музыка
Ahh the 80's! Prince, Michael, Madonna...Adele?
When I first heard the new Adele single ‘Easy On Me’ I instantly thought of the late 80’s. Maybe it’s the chord progression or the way she sings it, but something about it just made me want to rework it into an 80’s ballad.
Give it some love on Soundcloud:

200k views in a week! Thank you so much. To the people asking for this on Spotify/AppleMusic, unfortunately without the permission of Adele or her record label Columbia, there’s nothing I can do :( However! If you’d like to support me, I have a new album out now that features a song called ‘Cold To Me’ featuring Darren Hayes (of Savage Garden). It’s super 80’s! I’d really appreciate some love and support, as I’m getting no money from this Adele remix! Listen to the album here: louislaroche.fanlink.tv/LLRWNSD Also to those asking for a sax solo, here's a little present: kzread.info/dash/bejne/d6mmrphspLmcXZc.html Shoutout to @karstenbelt for absolutely killin' it!

I remember crying to this song after my high school prom back in 88'. My boyfriend Michael took me to the prom, but later in the night I caught him making out with our Sports Ed teacher Mr Burns in the janitors closet. I have never told anyone this story until now.

Similar story here. Class of '88 and went to prom with a girl who begged me to take her. This song came on and she grabbed my hand and pulled me to the dance floor. After the first chorus, I looked past her and saw Mr. Jones, the drivers ed teacher/girls basketball coach. He bit his lip and I pushed her away, walked over to him and we left the prom, this song echoing in the night. 33 years later, when this song comes on the "easy listening" or "oldies" station, Mr. Jones pulls me close and we dance like it was 1988.

Hey this is Michael. I owe you an apology. I'm so sorry I deceived you. It was inexcusable so I can't offer an excuse but I'd like to offer an explanation, if I may- I'm sure you remember, Mr. Burns was so hot, the hottest teacher at school and one day I caught him staring at me. Our eyes met and my heart went into my stomach. It didn't take long for us to take an interest in each other a few days before prom. We started flirting and he started putting the moves on me. I was just a young, impressionable, confused kid. I'd never gotten that kind of attention before from an adult, let alone the hottest teacher at school. Regardless, he took advantage of me, and made me do things that now, looking back on as an adult, I wasn't ready for. He was a total creep. I found out, some years later, that Mr. Burns had been fired from our high school for the same reasons (getting involved with an underage student), something he'd be prosecuted for today, but back then it was a different time. I've made peace with all that now, and I never saw him after the summer of our senior year when I went off to college. After senior prom, you never spoke to me for the rest of the year, I was heart broken that you'd cut me out of your life, and equally sad at the hurt I caused that night when you caught us in the janitors closet together. I never got to see you or talk to you again, this was way before cell phones, but I hope you're well and loving life.

holy shit, can Adele’s people PLEASE make this an official remix? It’s probably the best “80s version” of a contemporary pop song I’ve heard yet. All the ones that came before were just there to facilitate the birth of this one, like prophets leading us to the messiah. 😌

Adele really needs hear this, very nice.
When Jimmy took me on our third date to the AMC movie theatre in 87. We watched Dirty Dancing. Afterwards, we strolled around the mall without a care in the world. He drove me home, this song playing in the background. We pulled up to my house, my Father waved me hello. As he shifted from the net curtain, Jimmy pulled me in for a kiss and asked if we could go steady. 34 years later, we are no longer together but this song will always remind me of that night in 87

I remember hearing this for the first time on KBBL radio in the summer of 88’. I was In the backseat of my moms Chevy wagon heading from Wyoming to the golden state of California 🌴. A fresh start… my mother had been putting aside tips from her waitressing gig for over 2 years and finally had just enough to leave my alcoholic father. This song was the soundtrack to the summer that changed my life.

Best version!
i love 80´s the most + this new Adele´s song = the best !!!!!!
School prom 1988. I was so in love with Pauline in my class. I had been for three years. She was amazing. Dark hair. Blue eyes. Last dance. DJ started playing this song. I was leaning against the wall. Trying to look cool. She looked at me. I looked back. We smiled. A moment. Then I walked away... scared. I still regret that. I'm 49 today.... True story. Sadly.
this is a spiritual experience
Better than the og . I listened to it about 200 hundred times
I have this song/version on repeat for the past 4 days. I know I'm not the only one. I can't get enough, I feel like I went into a time machine back to the 80s & 90s.

Amazing one more time Louis La Roche !
Makes the original sound like a demo! Amazing!
I remember she performed this as a guest on stage with Michael Jackson at Wembley in 1988. Crowd went wild.
Yassssss …. This version is a god send
If you're listening to this in 2021, you're a legend!😎
I have to say. The original version? DEAD. And it was beautiful. But THIS IS A FREAKING MASTERPIECE. All the praise you get from this won't be enough.
It shows just how timeless Adele’s voice is, she could have been great in any of the previous 8 decades. Absolutely loving this remix!
When I was a kid I listened to this song while watching the news of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Time passed very quickly.
This is the main soundtrack from my favourite film which doesn't exist.
This sounds like a song that would be playing while the credits roll at the end of a John Hughes film. I'm impressed that you can distil the essence and nostalgia of the 80's music genre into 4m 8s!!
I pray she comes across this! This is AMAZING!!!!
The snare sound is just magnificent
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY EPIC!!!! All i can see is my childhood movies with this on it! GOONIES, KARATE KID AND GEES I CAN EVEN SEE THE NEW TOPGUN - MAVIC SOUNDTRACK!!!!...OH MY LIFE HAHA!!!
This completely sounds like something I'd hear on my parents radio when I was allowed to sleep in their bed, being 5 in 1988. They sat in the living room and I fell asleep to sounds like this one. Utter love for this ❤️

One of the rare remixes which are better than the original. This hit all the right 80s sound checkboxes.

I'm an 80s fan and this is the bollocks absolutely brilliant

Just wow. That should be an official release
Oh, wow! This brings back so many memories. I remember back in ‘88, my friend, Janice and I would drive up and down the PCH in her mom’s convertible, jamming to this song! With the top down, we would talk for hours about school, life, where we wanted to end up. Unfortunately, we lost contact after high school. I wonder where she is now, my sweet friend Janice…
It’s giving 13 going on 30 vibes. I wish this was on Apple Music. I definitely listen to this more than the original (the OG is good too but this is fireeee)
Listening to this gives me Melrose's place/Beverly Hills 90210/Dawson's creek vibes
Totally agree.... Much better than the original ... Great job!
This makes me feel even more sad and nostalgic. I didn't think that was possible.
I felt like this is the original mix. tbh I have goosebumps listening to this version.
This brings back memories of listening to this song in middle school in 1987 when all the kids were so mean to me, I wish they would have gone easy on me. I tried singing this song to them but they bullied me even more. The 80s were painful and the music was beautiful.
