Hi JeN！Thank you for giving us an interesting lesson in a vivacious voice as usual．On top of that，your lessons are always useful and enjoyable👍． What’s more，your lessons are unlike any other in the world． JeN's Jyugyou is a valuable treasure for me． In addition to working for six schools as a school clerk for over 20 years， I also worked for the School Education Division of Nagasaki Prefectural Board of Education for three years． The comment from you today told us that you worked as an English teacher for four years in Japan． I guess you were an ALT for a school in Tochigi Prefecture． I was in charge of distributing the budget for ALTs，or Assistant Language Teachers，as you know， who worked for high schools or special education schools in Nagasaki Prefecture from many countries where English is spoken as the official language ． That was a part of my job ． I sometimes had hard times because I was so busy that I had to work overtime quite often ，but I really enjoyed working as a public servant during those days． In Nagasaki，the plum blossoms are full-blown．They are very fragrant beyond expression． I love various colors of their flower petals．They are pale pink，deep pink，white，bright red，and some are yellow called “ roubai ” （蝋梅) ，or Japanese allspice． As you may know，Mito in Ibaraki Prefecture is famous for its beautiful plum flowers and magnificent scenery． Have you ever been to Mito？ Unfortunately，I've never been there😵．I'd like to go to Mito to see plum blossoms．Moreover，I can find a ‘ plum ’ job there by any chance． Furthermore，I want to have genuine ‘ natto ’ someday in the near future． As well as going to Mito，I'm keen to travel to Utsunomiya to eat delicious ‘ gyoza ’，or dumplings😁．I want to have a variety of gyoza，for instance，Yaki-gyoza（焼き餃子)，Age-gyoza（揚げ餃子)，and Sui-gyoza（水餃子)．Have you ever had all of them？ 揚げ餃子 is especially loved by adults because it's ‘ Age ’ gyoza😁． Don't you like this dad joke？ Have a nice weekend！ Ikuo from Japan．

Good afternoon Jen! Well I’m going to high school and I have to say it’s quite easy and in addition to that I have a lot of friends there however it’s not always easy because unfortunately there are many people who just do not care about school and in addition to that even if I’m studying a lot things are getting harder because of problems with the PC and stuff like that furthermore the boy who didn’t want me and my best friend to be friends he’s going to my school and even if he apologized as soon as the war started he told me to stop speaking to my American friend for my own safety because there is a war and their attentions between our countries and unfortunately one of her relatives who doesn’t understand that politics shins and people aren’t the same it’s convinced I wish her harm because she’s American! We had to speak to each other in secret for some time because he was visiting her but then he caught us and he said rude stuff to me saying that I shouldn’t dare to speak to her because I have Russian origins and so he basically told me this and my friend replied saying that she didn’t care and that I was just a normal girl and we both tried to explain that the average people are different from the politicians and not everyone wants war yet he thinks I might be some kind of spy! We have to define the odds like in the novels about forbidden love! Ours however is a forbidden friendship and with him going to my school! Not her relative but the other boy stuff gets even harder because he told the other students I was bullying an American girl and forcing her to learn Italian but the problem was that I wasn’t bullying anyone and my best friend herself asked to learn Italian and thankfully the other students believed me however we still have to define many odds and I hope the situation gets better for us because we both want to keep speaking to each other besides I’m even stressed because of this war as I have Ukrainian friends who thankfully are here but it’s still the country of a lot of my friends! War shouldn’t have broken out but it did and now it’s worse than ever! I also feel sorry for the Russians here who protested against the war and said that they feel ashamed to be Russian! I’m glad they protesting against it but they shouldn’t feel ashamed! There is no need because the politicians aren’t all the people and a politician doesn’t define a country! I can understand that maybe they said just to send a strong message and so they don’t feel like that but I really hope so! Seriously there is no need to feel ashamed of being Russian! If you know anyone from Russia please tell them that we do not hate them and we do not associate them with any war! Tell them they shouldn’t feel ashamed because a politician is a politician and the people are the people so they can still be proud of the culture even if they do not agree with the politician and it’s really sad that people have to feel ashamed of their own countries!
