A lot of haughty people in the comments… There is absolutely no right or wrong way to use a library and you’re free to use any feature you want. I think most of the people putting out these comments are a little bit stuck in the idiomatic orchestral realm and don’t understand that sampled instruments can be reshaped and used in any genre of music. If I were to advertise this library, yes I probably would’ve chosen an artist that’s a little more creative with the colors and textures that this library can provide but if she wishes to use well sampled strings for a trap instrumental, so be it ! Stay creative :)

Know its a short showcase video, but I'm just throwing this out there. I'm just commenting on the strings. It seem kinda tough to make Spitfire strings really work, when producing Trapp music. Sound like the strings are clashing, they needs velocity adjustments, and probably a few lower notes. I really don't feel that "sinister" sound of "Trapp"

Totally disagree. Realistically is the string part ever going to be played by an orchestra. Probably not. It's a synth using a string sound. If its ever played live it'll be done on a synth. I dint get this whole 'it doesn't sound like an orchestra thing' it doesn't because it's not.

The reason why it's not a...."must"...is because thousands of trap producers--and hip hop producers in general--already use straight up synth "strings", just as millions of people have done since the dawn of non-live string or string-like sounds in music. The benefit of using a Spitfire library to do it is to have synth-like strings in your beat that don't sound like typical synth strings.
