I installed oem flip cam but video is not coming in rcd 340 rest all are working fine as it should but while engaging reverse gear rcd showing look safe to move but video is black screen please suggest any resolution I tried coding and harness also but all not gave positive results

Hey Bro. I need your help to clear a doubt I am having. I have a 2021 Vento 1.0 TSi manual. And I am looking into doing a stage 1 remap to it. But my concern is, my car comes with the MQ200 gearbox. Which means it can only handle torque up to 200nm. Stage 1 remap can output torque up to 225nm. Will that cause any issues?

Yes it’s totally safe don’t worry, we have tuned a couple of 1.0 TSI to stage 1 and stage 2 which are running safely for almost an year and they are being driven hard, so don’t worry

Prerak does the latest Tiguan sold in India come with haldex or 4motion? Whats the difference between Haldex and 4Motion?

Haldex is a brand, 4 motion refers to the tech. They refer to the same thing, that is, it is all wheel drive

Hello I have a question. which cable did you use for ignition power? and after installation do you see it on the RCD330?

To be able to see it in the RCD The module needs to be OPS compatible. This isn’t that module this is just a PDC Module. The car had an amplifier running on ignition power already so we used that, but using an ignition signal from the fuse box directly is recommended.

Bro, My when I'm engaging the reverse gear on my polo that reverse beep sound is not coming nor my sensor are working also the reverse light is not turning on. What might be causing this issue?

The reverse signal from BCM that goes back to the tailight and to the parking module is faulty. Either there is a cut somewhere or break in circuit of some sort

Anyway to increase the sound of beeps from the buzzer..? Either a louder buzzer or via some setting change in VCDS..? / any other solution..? Can't hear it in monsoon as its pouring really heavily here in Kerala during the rainiy season

The stock module doesn’t support this change, however an updated 8k ops or 4Kops module does support it, in that one you can change the volume and pitch

Currently even the stock one is set at a higher volume, I would recommend dampening your roof with damping sheets, because that’s a common problem with polo platform, I will be doing the same as well

Does the radio volume get lowered when the reverse is engaged

As this car had an aftermarket radio we couldn’t check that. Original radio can take reverse information via CAN

Hi Prerak, My 2014 Polo 1.2 has an hyperflashing issue. All the indicator bulbs are halogen and are working fine. Yet they give hyperflashing, when set to left left flashes quick as well and when set to right so doest it, but not on the hazard option. Once I turn off the ignition and turn it back on it is back to normal. Any thoughts on this issue?

BCM is the body control module which handles every interior bit of the car and for Polos it acts as the CAN Gateway that is it handles all the CAN signals

What is the power difference u feel in between while driving 1.2 mpi and 1.0? I own 1.2 mpi and sadly never got a chance to drive 1.0 or any other engine besides.

1.0 litre tsi is a different engine altogether in terms of power I have driven the 1.6mpi in rapid and 1.0 in kushaq which is a heavier car than polo don't let the displacement fool you

if you want timings for 0-100 you can refer autocar 1.0 l tsi polo does it in 10 seconds

1.0 mpi has less torque 1.2 mpi had 110nm. So 1.2 mpi is a bit torque 1.0 mpi is more fuel efficient and has less grunt than 1.2 mpi.

Prerak, In morning when I put the car on ignition the radiator fan starts before the car starts.. Don't know..
