That engine is absolute trash, piston rings go bad after 70tkm and you can hear that clicking in this video

This engine is really enough for daily drivers. I have 2010 polo with same engine and I am very glad to prefer this car I didnt see in any problem about engine, just maintenance not else :)

That’s my car! Exact same model. I adore the engine, except on steep climbs. The poor thing just dies 😅. But it’s an incredibly funny car to drive. Agile, fast when well driven, and very responsive to your inputs❤ The only thing I didn’t understand in your vid was the “turning creaking”. 😳My steering does nothing like that, maybe you should check it… Thanks for the video, great content!! 👍🏼👍🏼

@@berendtwohl-bruhn4668 It doesn't. This engine already makes 8hp more than advertised so when it's ecu tuned it they can say that it now does 10hp more when in reality they maybe got extra 2hp.

We have the same car but with the 1.2L R3 12V Sound pretty nice for 60hp

The interior design is fantastic, although it's not very spacious inside. The visibility is not great, and you can feel a bit claustrophobic on the backseats. Apart from that, really pleasant car overall. And that petrol engine.

Amount of space - tbh frontseats are really ok, and comfortable, I've driven this car couple of longer trips +300-400kms, as a driver and a passenger and rarely got tired of it. It encourages you to take it for a spin, the layout of dashboard is optimal, really practical. On the other hand, whenever I sat on the backseats with my 1,80m height I felt a little bit like in a small box. Driver's visibility - it may be subjective opinion, but I always thought that the windscreen and side windows are quite narrow. If you have good spatial awareness it shouldn't be an issue, you get used to it, but I had this issue at first, I imagine that some people may have issues, maybe not on autobahn, but when traversing through tight alleys or parking. Don't get me wrong - it's a great car from early 2010s.

The Engine is not bad!

In LATAM that would be the Gol trend, it's a 1.6 8v 101 hp power train. The engine started production more than 2 decades ago, simple "reliable" and obsolete. Base model comes with ABS and 2 airbags required by law. However the full package doesn't have more either, no traction control or ESP, side airbags non of that. I'm sure the quality standards for the unibody is most likely different making it less safe on crashes. Same company, different markets, what do you think?

1.4 mpi 80-85km and 1.6mpi 102km are the best from VW.

on reverse that speedometer closeup is like "super sayan one point fooooouuurrrrrrrrrrr" its a fucking rarity these days a naturally aspirated engine huh, it sounds and even imho revs a lot better than fucking škoda 1.2 Hovno To Pojede - a decent car I suppose for daily comute imho

The acceleration is about the same as mine polo 9n3 1.4 tdi expect it's 1 cylinder less the horsepower is the same around 90ps but mine makes around 220-230nm. Without lunch, because someone told me the 5 speed trans on this engine is not very strong and I don't want to lunch it, but it haves no problem with the fast banging on the gears.

Why do you have to treat every car like this? This is not a review but instead a video about thrashing a perfectly good car. Changing every gear after hitting the limiter will not make you go any faster at all...

Weil hab mal geguckt musst drauf achten welchen Der mit 100ps und 130ps sind 1.9er tdi also der mit Leistungspotenzial Der 75-80ps is der 1.4er tdi Mit 55ps is der 1.2er tdi Und letze mit 64 1.9er Saugdiesel Dann gibts noch den GTI mitm 1.9er und 150ps aber die sind sack selten Naja dann viel spaß beim suchen digga

@@Cherry-iy4mw I have a 9n3 and 2 years of ownership almost no problem till now. Only filters and oil and some suspension component wich is normal and I put a polo cross front shock and spring and changed the rear axle with one from the cross too cause it haves disk breaks not drums. + it haves more clearence now cause I go to my family villa from time to time and the road is not good. The engine's been realiable for now its the 1.4 tdi 3 cyl one with a chip, I got it like that. I can tell you for a small hothatch its not slow it haves some punch to around 120kph-130 then falls off, my max speed with it was 200kph with 5 people including me.
