I have a 2011 version (9n4), i do not live in europe, so i was able to get a sedan which makes the car a bit more pleasant to look at in my own opinion, the main difference is because mine has a 1.6L 104 hp VHT engine, but the rest is the same. You probably rev it too high. Most people really moan about this engine, but it behaves just as you treat it. Don't go over 130km/h. Don't rev it over 3k rpm on acceleration. If you push it, it will consume oil. ofc if the issue persists, you could consider faulty head gasket, but there are always other signs.

The oil scene was fabulous. Anyway, very nice video. And this guy it's driving better than most making videos with much more powerful cars.

My car!!! Love the sound of it. Just very slow lol, mine is 60hp 6v version which usually is less likely to burn oil

I've been owning this car (phase 1 from 2002) for the 5 last years. I have to get give it away now because of all electronics problems it have. And what a shame because what a sound and the engine's response. For my part, the engine was running much better with ethanol.
