Hello Prerak. I am also thinking of upgrading to the tinted glass on my 2015 vento tsi 1.2 AT. Are the part nos for the vento and polo the same for the tinted glass? if not can you please share here for the vento as on boodmo its very confusing. Thanks in advance for all your time and help.

Bro nice job. Am a polo gttsi user from 2022 now struggling with my wiper blades. Recently changed my oem wiper blades with after market frame less wiper blades. Now the cleaning is not good and even having glairs, scratches un glass. Can u plss suggest which brand i should opet for my wiper blades and any solution for cleaning up the wind screen

Bro I already installed puddle lights in my Polo 2013 model way back in 2018, works with key and door opening. still works very smooth. Also I had added all four under doors lights or “Ghost lights” like Audi or BMW, works whenever individual door is open.

I'm quoted 2k per glass for windows and around 5k for front windshield minus the front shield adhesive, labour, taxes.

Absolutely, I did a small test which I did not include in the video as the video got a little longer than I wanted it to, the difference it makes with respect to the greenhouse effect is huge, once the car is parked in the sun, without these tinted glasses it becomes a literal oven, with prolonged exposure even the dark green tinted glasses will perform way better than no tint at all. It’ll be a stroke of luck to find another clean set at a scrapyard at a cheaper price, which makes this shift a no brainer

Amazing video. It always enjoyable to see you add many accessories to your car that weren't there from the factory. I think you should start planning on redoing your wiring but you should try to look at a wiring diagram of a polo that would have these features so that you can make the wiring look oem. But other than that i hope you have a great day.

I have access to repair manual for my car, which helps me a lot, rest everything is available online, when I can’t find something online I make sure to mention it on my KZread channel or make a video on it, otherwise even VCDS tweaks are all available online

Side glasses still have an effect and better than no tint, replacing the front and rear would include a job which is much more labour intensive than my capabilities as of now, I wish to get the front and rear replaced as well, but I would love to do it myself one day instead of getting it done, just something I wish to learn through experimentation

They have an IR Cut + Grey tint on them, for the cars manufactured after 2020

I own a škoda rapid 2017 a couple of months ago i went to the nearest authorizes service center and ask about these tinted glasses and the dealership came up with a budget of 25k for all 8 glasses:- front windshield,real windshield,all four doors and both quarter glass. so is it worth it to spend 25k on this set?. One of my friend owns rapid tsi 2021 style top model his car looks great with those tinted mirrors and those mirrors also have multiple advantages like they reduce the effects of passing car headlights in the night , they also helps to maintain cabin temperature during summer… and i was thinking that my car is the middle variant ambition which has manually adjustable irvm and the tinted windows set comes with the top model style specs which has that auto dimming irvm are they going to replace the irvm to auto dimming as well? What’s your opinion???

They won’t change the IRVM for you, you’ll need to purchase that kit separately. If your budget allows for 25k it’s worth it, otherwise just replacing the 4 rolling windows works wonders as well

Did you get it done? I was looking at 3M CR70 and it too costs around the same for all panels. Tint gives an opportunity for an angry cop to punish you. But with oem glass you can tell the cops to piss off. I don’t see the point in tinting if oem panels also cost the same.

i did this to my polo hL 2013 got thr galss from showroom the cost was 14k including labour (500 per door) i have 50 tint on back and 70 on front. i noticed a good amount of heat reduction in the cabin.

To all the POLO owners, have you noticed creaking sound from all 4 windows especially in bumps. Its so irritating and need to be fixed but when I complained about this to service centre they made a temporary fix by using some liquid. If anybody aware or facing this issue pls let me know

Bro I have a doubt For example you are adding many things to car that was not from OEM so does that overburden the car battery as it was an OEM and was designed to power OEM accessories Second does this all affect insurance or warranty

The extent to which I’ve added things to my car definitely voids warranty, insurance doesn’t have an affect on this, in the case of an accident caused by my accessories, for example a fire, It won’t be covered under insurance. Rest I try to add all of these accessories on engine power and not all on ignition, so it doesn’t burden the battery, a higher DIN battery is always an option however.

Front and rear are stock in my case, no tint. I didn’t go for film because the police in my area are very vigilant with Films, even tho they are now legal to a certain limit, they will still stop and question you which gets annoying especially when you have passengers with you, moreover if something exists in OEM spec I would prefer that way more.

Your car, if presented to the govt. by the manufacturer for putting on sale for type approval will be approved as it conforms to all laws. But as a user you cannot modify it and hence it takes your "Road legal" tag away. Not like you didn't have a ton of other mods anyway. Nothing against you or the car, just wanted to clarify this for everyone else. Tastefully done up.
