Is there any chance you might do a video on controlling physical pain? I have a neck injury with 3 degenerated disks and I'm struggling to meditate while sitting because the neck pain is so distracting. Your Qigong instruction has been helping me hugely to overcome a lifetime of pain & disability, so thank you so much for that!

I decided to heal my body and mind and change my energy through the attitude, thoughts and by learning Chi Kung, and then I know you. And I know It isn' t a random thing. Thank you very much, It is a gift. I would like to go and visit the Temple some day.

Master Shi Heng Yi, thank you for opening up this knowledge and sharing your teachings! You speak of two breaths. One of these two breaths would seem to be most useful for the majority of Qi Gong practice. Would this be correct or do both breaths share equally in the process depending on the form? Also, could or should "direct" breath be used for our daily non Qi Gong waking activities? Head bowed, hands in prayer...

People who give nothing in exchange for teachings often don't tend to get as much out of them and usually have less appreciation and hence value for what is being taught, so there is actually some value in Master's charging something when the person has something to give.

@Gold Shine You're obsessed with lies, friend. You're going to see lies everywhere because they are in your eyes, in your ears, in your mind, in your heart. The worst lies are the ones we tell ourselves, anyway. If your concept of happiness depends on others telling you the 'truth', then our conversation has no foundation. Internet conversations often have this nature.

He's right about the exhale exchange. If you torque your breathe hard enough outward, yet prevent it from escaping. You create vapor. It is like dragon breath. It's easier to see in cooler air. It's either blue fire or red fire. This is a cool video. Thank You. Science calls it fusion. And your cat timed its sneeze perfectly. 1:31. The energy has a "mass" effect on reality.

I like it that it's embracing both theory and practice, everyday life and monastic life. In China monastic lives are secret and it's very hard for ordinary people to access the ancient teachings. I feel very grateful that after 5 years of living in the west and just before I am ready to move back to China, I came across your free videos recently and get to understand the meanings behind those movements, not just the forms but also essence, which helps tremendously with practice and perseverance. This what the man said is the truth. Intent focused on ''feeling'' can start ''chi''. That is how I managed to change the movement of an ''object''. I felt how it moves, and then it moves....

Love is THE direct access to the LIVING fields of consciousness and fabric of reality that makes up this Universe and more. Qi and the filament and ocean of what is considered Qi is actually alive. It is what some call God. It is already in everything for it is everything. It is Life ItSelf (LIVING fields of Creation/Consciousness) that responds to us directly. It is our own personal and collective disconnection or connection from that fundamental inter connected Prime Creative Loving Source of Life that is apparent in our internal and external experiences. When we finally reconnect (remember) within WITH/AS this awareness in LOVE then we tap into the greatest truths of Creation. It is a fine balance of service with and for self AND service with and for others and ALL LIFE. ALL life and everything in Creation is sacred. Respect for the life within ALL things as Sacred and with a reverence and wonder and reconnection with the purity of innocence within is Key. When this is remembered (realized) then the Entire Universe moves this way with and for us with us as a direct Consciously aware co-creative force. The greatest Truth is that we/this has already been realized and the we can align with it and remember. It's already here. Much love and gratitude Shifu! Thank you for being a shining example of loving wisdom in the very grounded and practical ways that truly serve.

"Some pretending that they are Sweet and mean no harm. Some are genuine and if you find a genuine soul like that, it's as if you found a needle in a haystack, never let go of that soul. The path ahead is gonna be bumpy. We need more souls, the purest of the pure. Some pretending like they are demons, and the beauty of the battle became even more interesting."

Wonderful lesson. I believe understanding chi is a life long pursuit. This exercise is pretty mild - foundation work, take care at least for me this gathering is powerful. I needed to be reminded and properly instructed. There are positions and movements that knocked out my gyro's and upset my balance for days. I was not ready or did not know how to manage all this energy. note for myself: go slow take it easy build on this fundamental. In the future or somewhere along this journey we learn to "play with chi" bad word use. We learn to work with chi. I am ill equipped to share. I will try. Chi is a round ball of energy - when it is big - universal - galaxy - global it is all around but most don't notice or pay attention. It is not harmless but idk diluted. When we bring chi into our sphere our body it is quite powerful - our life. We see in martial arts movements and routines these circles. The hugging posture very open and accepting. In practice with our limbs and movements the essence is controlled and released. Intention was the word used. We can bring this force into tighter circles or balls. Basket ball, soft ball, base ball, golf ball. This is kind of the way I see it. A glowing orb of fire, plasma that with training we control or work with and integrate into our self. This tightness we see in the wrist, hands, fingers (poor job of sharing I apologize.) Something about all of our joints our selves being a vehicle of chi. There is much power, energy, life when we focus in this way. I extrapolate this into my mind, my heart my being and drive it, no bad word use accept it into my core. It is not a point, yet but I am very very small. Like a star in the sky there are many more like me. A beautiful light tapestry laid out before us in the cosmos. I learn to let go, back out, forgive, share, accept the nourishment and grow. Returning to who I am yet knowing I am not alone. This is the exercise, breathing in, breathing out understanding chi and who we can be. Thank you Master Yi
