Absolutely beautiful! I worked for a scrapbook store several years ago and I bought a jar of the gum Arabic not remembering how to use it. Thank you for refreshing my memory about it. I am so excited to try your techniques.

I’ve been busy crafting cards for decades with a jar of gum Arabic sitting in my cupboard not knowing what to do with it. So funny. This is the first time EVER anyone has used it that I have seen. The results with it are gorgeous. Now wouldn’t the results be the same as mica sprays only more controllable? Have no clue here. ( Hydrangeas with all their hues are one of my favorite flowers as well ) thanks Cheryl for sharing your creativity with us.

lol, I bought my gum Arabic many years ago too to add to Pearl ex to Watercolour with and ended up not doing it for a VERY long time so I totally get it! Definitely, Mica sprays would also give a very similar look and you could control them by putting some on your work surface and water colouring with them.

Those turned out really beautiful! Thanks for the tip about thee gum arabic! I've been trying to figure out how to use my mica powders on my cards.
