Double Hot Foiling Cards using the NEW Tropical Leaves and Buffalo Plaid Press Plates
In today's video, I'm double Hot Foiling to create several card. I'm using the New Tropical Leaves press plate and die set along with the Buffalo Plaid Background press plate along with two different Glimmer foil colours.

Pretty! I love foil! 3:04 Could you die cut a template, center it over the leaf/leaves, inlay the masking magic, then pull away the template so you would know it is centered?

Technically you could but I think it would take longer and if one or more of the plates happened to shift while foiling the template would be off. Also because the backing of the masking you can’t tape the dies in place to make sure they don’t shift during the die cutting process

@@ArtsyIslandGirl you could adjust the opening for each leaf as you add the mask. Maybe I am thinking more of a jig? With the die cut opening, you would be able to see that the foiled image is centered and add the mask, giving an even border.

I had it in my head in my earlier reply that the template was masking magic, but it doesn’t need to be and your suggestion would definitely help to make sure they were centred evenly 😊
