"Big scissors are going to give you the opportunity to cut something you don't want to cut." Yes they are! I'm so pleased you pointed that out. 🙂I'm always astonished at seeing so many tutorials using a clumpy pair of cutting shears for cutting small details, into tight corners and even as general thread snips. I always want to use the right type and size of scissors for the job and yes serrated scissors are perfect for this type of close trimming.

Thank you for this helpful video! But I was wondering what that water sound was in the background. At first I thought it was a dog drinking water, but it kept going. 😁

The production and commentary are rexcellent. Bravo. Let me ask, is the bag pattern sewn or embossed? I dream to ask if the sewn pattern is available, or the name of embossing leather company. A new subcribber and await more instructional vedio's. Thank you, Ron

Great tutorial!! Thanks so much. Do you find that the vinyl overlay holds up to the action of opening and closing the zipper? I used a cork overlay and felt that it broke down more than I would like since I'm going to sell the bags.

why didn't you trim more of the overlay off, even close to your original stitches? why so close to the zipper opening?

I like the support behind the overlay ... The double stick tape I use is permanent so all is held together forever ...
