Richard, you are a very smart man and I appreciate your efforts to help everybody improve their Wi-Fi signal in their homes. I do have to say that or ask that every time before you say the word router say the name of the router first because when you just say the router, it’s not clear whether you’re talking about your primary router or your secondary router, that can be very confusing. Now I know in this video you just created a switch. But still every time you say router before that word say which router you’re talking about. Thank you.

Richard great video! This is the exact type of video instruction I was looking for. I currently have a dlink DIR-615 router with the lastest DD-WRT firmware installed. My intent with this router is to create a WAP in my detached garage. I have an ethernet connection ran out to that building from my main router in my house. My question to you is: Can I keep the same SSID and WiFi password on the DDWRT router as it is on the main router? I want to be able to walk from one location to the other seamlessly. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Are you adding a user OR changing admin user name?

Great question. But in that case you are just renaming the single administrator's account. I looked into it and even tried the Linux useradd command on the command line interface (CLI) and it did not understand the command. Looks like currently it only supports a single user(root) account.
