Media: We don't have to blow this out of proportion. Kirk Cousins is the guaranteed starter for this season and the next few years. Also the Media: Kirk's days may be numbered!

Its crazy Kirk has the most 4000 yards 25td seasons since 2015, and he gets about as much hate as I have ever seen anyone get. They use the well he has won one playoff game, ya and how did he play in those playoff games, he has 5 tds and 1 interception in those games. I would love to see him get the monkey off his back, like Steve Young. But he will have to win, and people will still probably hate on him.

Minnesota was honest with him about drafting a qb this year. He wasn't willing to "be on the same page as his Gm and coach" so he left and got what he deserves, to be put in a real qb room with young competition to prove he's the guy. No more Justin Jefferson to bail him out.

We did our best with Kirk and without jj( beat the 49ers Monday night without jj) then when jj came back and Kirk was out our qbs threw multiple int games. Well first of all Cousins is the starter. He has a recent injury History. Achilles. So it's fair to think he could get injured again. Hence the Penix pick. Hes the backup. There is No confusion here. I dont expect Poor play from Cousins but that's another way Penix could get on the field. If London and Pitts dont shine then bring in Penix. There will be No Excuse for that.

Kirk will be gone within two years regardless and Penix will come in. Let’s be real Kirks time is almost up and he’s nowhere near as mobile as Penix and has already reached his ceiling. We just want Penix to sit and learn and come in and ball out similar to Love or Mahomes. It’s clear sitting and learning can be extremely beneficial to QBs coming into the NFL and help them transition, not every QB can come in and have an immediate impact like CJ Stroud did. And i bet youll see a lot of rookie QBs next year struggling because they were thrown in the fire.
