I'm so happy that Adam has reached the point where he can laugh at the memories. It's a good place to be, but takes time. I still have a box of my brother stuff who passed 12 years ago that I go through from time to time. Fluxuates from joy to a gut punch.

I miss Grant so much. He and all of MythBusters have shaped who I am today and is the reason I am the curious and intellectually-driven person I am. Thank you ❤

If there were real justice in the universe, Grant would have died a wrinkled centenarian. If he couldn’t do that, why did he need to die in that dumpster fire year called 2020? I’m getting cynical in my old age, and I particularly did in that year.

I got the company I was working for to send a replacement Buster to Mythbusters after talking to Kari at a Con. We had about 6 flight test dummies, but we did some research and found out there was a warehouse somewhere full of Russian test dummies.

The sword swinging robot was scary as all heck but the Flying Guillotine that almost gutted him still scares me when i see that episode to this day.

I was looking for something to watch with my kids recently and found Mythbusters on Max. My children are 7 and 5. It’s not always kid friendly, but most of the episodes are fine. In any case, they were into it immediately. We jumped around in the seasons some, and at one point we were watching some of the earliest episodes. My daughter noticed Grant wasn’t in it and asked if we could watch more episodes with him. It really was a special show and Grant was great. I hope this sale goes well. Best,

"Screen-used harpoon" is a truly wonderful statement.

I never got to meet Grant but he was one of those rare people that had this awesome quality about him that made you feel like you knew him even if you never meet him.

I have a friend who met and took photos with Grant Imahara, at a robotics competition for students. She said he was so nice and friendly.

I love these. I love that I know Grant is smiling knowing his old junk is somehow helping people.

I had just left my junior year of high school when that sword was used. You guys were a big part of my late teens and early adulthood. You taught me more about science than my science teachers. Rest in peace Grant.

Grant was amazing, he even got to exercise his acting chops as Sulu in "Star Trek Continues".

Imagine owning the crew gift for the end of Mythbusters made by Adam gifted to Grant. That's pretty insane.

Is it possible to bid to spend just an hour listening to Adam tell stories about his career. So encapsulating! Could listen to this man talk about his work and who he has worked with for literal HOURS A DAY.

I remember that sword swinging rig and how utterly destructive it was. I can hear Grant laughing away the energy after every blast, wow. That piece of sword is beaten to bits.

Oh wow, I had no idea Grant passed. He was my favorite myth buster. It’s great you have some awesome mementos to remember him. RIP Grant

Love that Buster story. It sounds like you presented an opportunity for that agency to upgrade their crash test dummy by "misplacing" their old one
