** SUGGESTION ** You need an analog clock near the build site for the time lapse! -- I love the LEGO builds! So much fun to watch!

OOOOHHHH! Seeing Adam Savage built unique Lego models is a dream come true!! And props to the designer! Such incredible details! I legitimately love it!

From knolling to the build, watching this amazes me. Keep on Adam, you are the coolest, most powerful nerd the kids and fellow 44 yr old nerds can look up to. Thank you for your mental awareness and ease of thought.

Some say, the 'time lapse' isn't sped up at all, but is in fact Adam's functional speed when he's hyped as heck for a model kit... :P

At the start of the video, you liked the design of the instruction book. Well I think it is really not great, having to invert it every time you change the page.

I can sit forever and watch Adam build anything. But ... there was one line here which sums up his entire portfolio of work. "Did I build this thing upside down....?"

A tip for building these brickvault models that has saved me is. . . use Clear Solo Cups to store pieces in. . you can semi sort half knowl the bags into cups.

Awesome. I have the Papaglop Razor Crest, the French have designed some very beautiful MOC sets. His modular style of engineering is brilliant, such a beautiful kit just like this Spinner.

That is an interesting choice for the instructions. You could slide a dowel in there to hang it up by the rings and it would always be right-side up... put that on a swivel and you're set.

As a child of the 70s Lego bricks were quite common. However, I never owned a set myself but it seemed like every kid I knew had them. The thing is I never saw what the packaging looked like or what the complete set looked like. It was always just a jumble of random bricks in someone's bedroom that we would play with. We never tried to build anything specific or were even aware that each kit was supposed to create a specific building or something. We would just snap them together into whatever we could think of. I used to get a kick out building a square version of the starship Enterprise.

That “secondary movement” of Adam’s hair just adds to his excitement. Ha

Shout out to Syd Mead, the artist who designed the Spinner (who sadly died in 2019), and Gene Winfield, the Custom Car/hot rodding legend who built the Spinners for the original, 1982 movie. Winfield is still painting cars (what originally made his name) and chopping Mercury's, on his ranch in Mojave. Winfield also built the Shuttlecraft, for the original Star Trek series, as well historic show cars/Customs like the 'Jade Idol', 'Stripstar' and 'Reactor' ('Reactor' also featured in Star Trek TOS, Bewitched, and the 60s Batman series).

Have you considered acquiring and assembling the Ultimate collectors edition LEGO star destroyer?

Adam: I LOVE KNOLLING SO MUCH, I DO IT ALL THE TIME....no seriously, knolling is the greatest thing ever, especially with Lego. it just makes everything so much more efficient, and truly builds are faster if you knoll first. me: skepticals....outside of the fact i didn't hear about knolling till Adam said it, it seems a world of inefficient just to de-clutter. Adam: 2000 piece....yea, i'm not gonna knoll. takes too much time.

Those “wing pieces are from a couple sets but most notably in my opinion, they’re in the technic Bugatti set! There’s loads of them in black and bright blue!

I should go back and watch the other LEGO spinner you built, almost exactly a year ago.

Please take a look at PV-Productions, they do Great Ball Contraptions, those crazy Rube Goldberg type ball machines, but based on using only bricks form a single Lego kit! It adds amazing value to a lego kit, and makes costom lego models available without having to custom order parts.

I wonder if you've considered more drawer style work tops under your workbenches, like the one you built for your new 3D printer, for light duty applications such as this.

You have done a couple scratch built models episodes. But I am wanting to take on building scratch built version of the class ships for the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic and would like to see a few more scratch build episodes
