Fun fact: In the scene the prop department accidentally put a second right arm in the net on Chewies back, not the left one ;) And the head movement was executed through fishing wires which have been connected from C-3POs head to the left and right of Chewies weapon, so every time they filmed the back view with C-3PO, Peter Mayhew was actually moving the blaster to move C-3PO's head.

Wasn't 3p0's head on backwards. Since in the movie he was complaining about how his head was on backwards

It was backwards for the scene when Chewie was trying to put him back together but he fixed it offscreen and Threepio’s head was facing the right way the rest of the movie

Dont ever buy a premium membership to tested. I dont think they have ever finished even one premium project in the entire time they have been doing this.

adam is literally a man child with a vast amount of engineering knowledge, a workshop full of ridiculous things, and the money to build whatever he wants.. just seeing how happy this makes him makes my day a little better.

I really like these One Day Builds where it is not just Adam talking all the time but rather the crew letting him work and sneak around him and him just talking about stuff he does. Like the part where he is looking for wood and suddennly goes "Uh yeah, I have plenty of this" ... This way its just very enjoyable to me to watch these. :)

how is is possible that his Chewbacca costume is better then the one the mascots wear at Disney World and Disney owns Star Wars!!!

Same goes for their Kylo Ren. I made a Kylo Ren outfit that isn't perfect to the film yet is better than the one you can see up close at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It's likely due to their cast members comfortability foremost as well as the cost to produce the costumes.

At risk of sounding like a stuck-up know-it-all: Great transitions shouldn't confuse the viewer or take them out of the experience.

Watching adam savage build things is better than asmr. I can watch this all day, i feel so relaxed.

This is great it looks like he’s thinking faster than he can build. Always looking for the next tool and knows what he needs. Such great work and passion.

Adam is my inspiration to Tinker and Make and create. Its always been a Skill of mine and seeing Adams work really motivates me to get Started on my Own Projects, Hes such an amazing Creator, Keep being Awesome!

I am recovering from a stroke that has impacted my left leg and arm. Watching you sticking all the frayed wires and floppy arm reminds me of how I saw myself right after the stroke. AND just like C3PO was rebuilt so I am rebuilding myself. Thanks for all the years your talent and humor have sustained us.

It's great to see a kindred creative spirit make the things that he loves! I wanted to build my own C-3PO mannequin since forever. I stick to building simple props and models. I'm in the process of building my own four foot version of the Return Of The Jedi X-wing fighter. At the moment having no job and no space to work sucks!! Be very glad that you are able to realize your dreams and share them along with your ambition to teach. Finally something for the techie geeks that want to be creative and share ideas. It's too bad that we'll never meet let alone work together but at least I can gain inspiration from you! There's a paint that you can buy specifically for airbrushing called Spastix. It''s for recreating the look of actual chrome and is more durable than Alclad. It's kind of expensive if you want to paint your own life sized models but well worth the effort in doing so. I learned of it right here on youtube from a guy that did a comparison of the two using plastic spoons. It''s intended for replicating chrome trim on model cars. Well worth looking in to. Thank you for sharing this with us. Truly worth every moment.

I love that his work is down to every detail. He's got a great personality.

The coolness factor of ESB Chewie and 3PO speaks for itself. What makes this video really fkn cool is watching the genius of Adam at work in the moment. I can just imagine what is going through his head when he's speed finger tapping. God, how I wish I could just have 1/10 of his ability!

that's basically any makerspace anywhere in the world. You can google for the closest one to you, they usually have lots of machinery and equipment for you to use at a fee.

Very cool! The scenes when Chewie tries to rebuild C3PO is one of my favorite scenes in my favorite movie. This cosplay is very awesome! Watching this video is more than a little like the scene when Chewie starts putting C3PO together except 3PO isn't complaining here. :)

oh my gosh this looks great!! i wish i had the tools and skill to make this myself, one day for sure! My only change would have been an amber led for c3p0's eyes
