Yeah, man. I bought one for the hell of it and believe it or not, it sounds pretty good. It comes with a small 5 watt amp (gives a little kick, actually) 2 batteries for the amp, a strap, and a cord.

First Act Amps are really fucking bad. The Guitars aren't too bad for beginners though. Cheap and easy to learn on.

Actually, some of the First Act pickups do sound great. Depends on the guitar. Some of the guitars from the period when the custom shop was open were pretty good and great bang for the buck. The custom shop stuff was amazing. It's just that most people are only familiar with the "discovery" line that you see in Walmart or Toys R Us.Those are crap.

They used to have a custom shop out of Boston, and they made some really good shit. I'm pretty sure they closed down. They were plagued by this crap's reputation. But they really should've done more to distinguish their custom stuff from these crappy Chinese guitars.
