Adam and Joe you are wonderful I'm sure Bowie listened and had a chuckle to himself now and then...this really cheered me up after a week of carrying around a lump in my throat and a pain in my chest whenever I think about Bowie, which is most of the time!

Jonny Race apparently he did listen as when he was at Glastonbury he said if he did an interview it would be with them or Jo Whiley but then it didn’t happen. Have you listened to the Adam Buxton podcast? There are two episodes called Bowie wallow.....it’s brilliant. Sad but brilliant and filled with stories I don’t think you’ll hear anywhere else.

Bowie's death has left the entire world feeling bereaved. So much so it feels like a family member that's passed.
We don't generally associate Adam with mimicry/impressions/impersonations in the same way we do with people like Steve Coogan, Peter Serafinowicz or Peter Sellers. But Adam's Bowie, when he's really seriously on it, is as uncannily, freakishly accurate as Coogan's Kinnock, Peter Serafinowicz's Terry Wogan and Sellers' Humphrey Bogart.
"I'm recording a new album with Baaba Maal." That's such a perfect reference.
Unbelievable Bowie impression.

A lot of people say that David Bowie starred in Labyrinth, but I saw it that Labyrinth starred in David Bowie.
I wish I could do an impression of Bowie talking as spot on as Adam does. I can picture all the little nuances in my mind - the bassy, nasal, almost Woganesque narcotic drawl, the zeds replacing the esses, the ridiculously florid vocabulary - but I just can't make my mouth make these sounds :(

Y'know, listening to their hilarious impression Bowie, it almost sounds like Sir Jimmy Saville, just imagine them saying "Now Then Now Then" or "Shawaddywaddy" and thats it.
