It must've sucked to keep being asked in interview after interview, "so where have you been" or something like that. The man had tremendous success and number 1 records. if he'd never recorded another song after 1985, he would have left a lifetime's legacy and deserved more respect than that type of question.

Good grief, he's an artist! Let him act, sing, or do whatever, why does he have to choose one or the other? This interviewer is a bit thick. Adam handled him with grace and dignity. Oh, and I can't comment on him without adding that he is quite possibly the most beautiful man who ever lived. Perfect use of makeup! Love the suit too. I like that he was willing to change things up. Like I said, artists don't need to be pigeon-holed.

I was an Ant Warrior and never lost sight of the fact Adam was very much the driving force post punk, and was central to the London punk scene with the likes of Siouxsie Sioux etc. He embraced video like nobody before him, his downfall was his obsessiveness and drive at a time when he probably didn’t fit the music kids wanted to hear by 1983 or 1984. Lovely guy much misunderstood, ahead of his time.
