Right around the range i expected it would put out. So shocking to me that I haven't seen anyone else test this amp yet! Especially considering how popular & prevalent Skar Audio has been in the bass community the past few years. Yes, some love them, some hate them but no denying they do make some products that in my opinion perform well past their sell price.

Nice amplifier just got me another amp. It's a Soundqubed U1-8000 fullbridge amp. You need to dyno one because it's never been tested. Try half ohms if you get one. There's also a 13k as well for under $900 unfortunately I'm only wiring it to 2ohms.

I wanna see certified @ .6 ohm....

Should I be looking at this amp for a pair of ZVX-18s as well or maybe look into the Sundown Salt 6K? I would be running at half ohm. I already have a ZVX-18 but thinking about getting another.

Great job on your dynos,but velcro that fluke meter to your ad1,it drives us nuts watching it disappear or block the readings. Do a cerwin vega h7 series,no one has yet.

The JP23 looks nice but it may be a bit much for 4ga. I have a JP8 on the way, the bass knob really sold it for me. It has 4ga inputs, it dyno'd around 1500w on burst, its listed as an 800w amp but preforms like a 1k+.

@Adam's DIY and random vids yes they have a cheap series of Chinese amps called the RP series. Of course, the RP series is significantly cheaper than the SK series Skar amps. SK is worth the extra money, I had a RP2000.1D amp and sent it back to skar for refund within the first two weeks. In my opinion the RP series or atleast the RP2K amps are unable to hold up to heavy, heavy 1 ohm use, atleast from my experience. I'll give Skar credit as they do honor their advertised 30 day no hassle warranty. They quickly refunded my purchase price and sent me return shipping labels so it didn't cost me a dime to own for a couple weeks.

Almost think the RP 4500 is more powerful from what I seen on your vid on the RP 4500 watt amp.

RP are Not as efficient or reliable tho plus it’s not as good of quality so it won’t be lasting as long as the sk series’s

Amplifier manufacturers regularly rate their amps at 14.4 as an industry standard.... Our test runs all ended within tenths of that 14.4v standard.

Thanks for the test. Numbers are pretty much in the expected range of such an amp. Powerful but kind of a relic the way things are going. To be honest in this era the paradigm is shifting to full-bridge amps with full regulation over multiple impedances... more power, better efficiency out of amps less than half the size and half the price.

Fairly similar to the bass clef 4k,and team pie...maybe it just me..

Barely 1500w at 4 ohms is weak IMO, considering every system will have impedance rise. And even in the burst barely made 2k with almost 15v. Thanks for the dyno though.

@@hippo-potamus lol!! Taramps is a full bridge this is a half bridge. They operate totally different. Are you comparing these two?? How and why? Wow your lack of intelligence has shown through. Lol go play legos And taramps kinda sucks compared to this amp. It’s Korean built and Will far outlast that scrap ass smart3! I’d never buy a smart 3 over this. I don’t think anyone but a newbie would. If I was building a mid range and highs section I’d buy a smart3. For bass?? Why?

@@guysgt5003 Hahah GTFO mate. At the end of the day wattage is fukn wattage. And when your system undergoes impedance rise to 4 ohms which is highly highly conservative this amp will flop like a fish out of water. I like my legos more than your barbies.
