If Bill Tyrrell, DVM, DACVIM (Cardiology) could give one piece of advice to veterinary specialists considering volunteering for the ACVIM, it would be: 'Just do it'. He shares that one of the main reasons he has been volunteering for the past 25 years is simply to give back to the veterinary community. Throughout Dr. Tyrrell's time as a volunteer, not only was he able to participate and lead several member committees, but he was also able to form invaluable connections to fellow veterinary professionals all over the world.
