The book of Acts presents the history of a dynamic, growing community of believers that started in Jerusalem and went on to spread the gospel throughout the known world. In this book, the gospel writer Luke also recorded how the early church received the Holy Spirit, who enabled them to witness, love, and serve with boldness and courage, even when faced with persecution.

catholics - take note! Jesus already did the work for you: "It is finished". Don't think you are more powerful than Jesus Christ, by trying to do it yourself. The only Way is through the finished work of Jesus Christ. xo

Yes God still loves you. He left the 99 and is seeking you or you wouldn't feel guilt at all. Give your heart to Him and He will make things work together for your good.
Ever wonder why... the "chruch" went from being about Jesus and His Apostles... and then Jesus goes to the Cross ✝️... and then the Church ⛪️... suddenly goes from the hands of the ones who knew Jesus personally and into the hands of the man who was hunting and murdering them... oh right cuz Jesus returned and spit in his eyes so he would was healed and instead of hunting Christians as a jew ... he set the church on the path to Armageddon.... good job peter and paul 👏 one sells the church and the other steals it.

Skip shouldn't have to apologetically mention the problem with the women in Chapter 6. The world, especially the woman's rights movement that started in the 1960's, has affected every man in an adverse way since. It's frustrating to see it everywhere. Men have plenty of their own issues too. As do women. As believers we need to be mature enough to see this, and not expect the other sex to have to tiptoe around it. Just a thought.
