Hi Jessy, you have had some nice comments in this video. One note I was enlightened about - this scripture you quote here is not about Christians. It is John the Baptist (the Law), decreasing with Christ (Grace) increasing. Because when we follow Christ and his Holy Spirit, we are magnified through His Glory. We live the life He planned for us. So sure, we deny our selfish desires, picking up our cross and follow Christ’s example as he asked, but we do not “decrease”. Make sense?

@@soundlycreative Taken in the context of verse Vs 25, John's disciples came to say to him ( Jesus)," him to whom you have testified, the is baptizing and all are coming to him". It is to this that John says , hey I am not jealous of his popularity! I must decrease ( I know that), he must increase. The extrapulation could be made That you cited. I have never heard it before but it does make sense. If this is what the Holy Spirit has revealed, I can accept it especially in the light of John 1:17 " The law was given by Moses, grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." And also what John said " I baptize with water, he will baptize with fire." Matthew 2:11-12 Thinking now though John represented the new thing. John did not represent Moses' law nor was it grace, ( grace and truth came by Jesus Christ) More study needed,

@@jessyjonas4988 thank you for considering the idea. When I heard it from a preacher, he was calling out how Christians should not think we are low or dirty or worthless. And that “I must decrease” can be misinterpreted. We are saved by loving Grace (as you know), our flesh renewed with YHWH’s Love! God is increasing INSIDE of us! So exciting!

Dear David, 12:50 Resurrected Christ working through the Holy Spirit in ACTS - the scriptures MUST say by “the power of the Holy Spirit’ because Christ IS Yehoshua (Yahweh Saves) and is express image of YWHW. It must be by the Spirit or it wouldn’t be of God. As you know, God is “Spirit”, we just don’t understand what this Spirit is ;) So I’m surprised you’re so surprised by this verse. But it IS SO EXCITING because Christ perfectly modeled the way as YHWH had the prophets prophecy He would. And His Grace has put this within our hearts. So exciting for us to receive and shine love to others, be patient and serve them (like you do with these wonderful messages you teach). I need to be so much more patient. Honking my car horn when someone’s not driving as I (or the state of GA), thinks they should. The anger I create in the other driver, is not worth it. I need to stop trying to be RIGHT and be righteous. I thank you Holy Spirit for your patience and long-suffering for me. I will follow Christ example better.

Christians can experience many thoughts, emotions, and suggestions. We can be influenced by God, by Satan, or by our own sinful nature. When a person becomes a Christian, the Holy Spirit indwells them and gives holy promptings and holy desires that align with the Bible. So when our "gut feelings" are lining up with God's word, we can be fairly sure that God is leading us. Experiencing God is like getting to know close friends. We know Him through His word, and He becomes increasingly familiar to us. Regarding Heaven, we all have many desires about what we will experience there.

Revelation 21:1-3 tells us... 21 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, [a]John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. We praise God that the kingdom of God is "among us", but there is so much more that is coming. We will literally see, with our eyes, the New Jerusalem. How wonderful that will be. Until then, we wait for the total fulfillment of that wonderful plan of God. Blessings in Jesus name!

Incorrect. The angels said to the men in Galilee "why are you standing there looking into the 'sky'" NOT 'heaven', because Jesus will not come down from the sky, He will come down from heaven. These are two completely different things. The original Greek text is clear, the first word is 'Sky', the second word is 'Heaven', there is a clear distinction. The confusion is with the Greek word 'ουρανός' which could mean both heaven and sky. Use the NASB 2020, the most accurate word for word translation to understand Acts 1:11.
