I’ve always loved Kirk. Met him MANY years ago at Pope AFB in NC. He was there with Brooke Shields and Bob Hope to perform for our vets. It was Bob Hope’s birthday and they were throwing out pieces of his birthday cake to the crowd. Kirk accidentally nailed a USAF member, in his dress blues, right up side his head. All that needs to happen is for the NY Stock Exchange to move and that was threatened when the socialists in NYC wanted to put a tax on stock transactions a few years ago. Is that what you are talking about? There really is no reason for the financial sector to be in NYC. 1. with technology, it could be in Nebraska 2. people are afraid to commute into NYC so the quality of employees is poor and 3. tax to employees and the company.

I tried this move to TN. I lasted 2 years there. It was not that great. Weather Shock is one thing you will get. Bugs, swampy climate and VERY EXPENSIVE city living. Nevada is my state and always will be.

@@blue-vo1sb - I've been to the Smoky Mountains twice in August and neither was a big problem with bugs. You should see South Jersey in summer months near the bay.

I am a California gal that has lived in Illinois- Utah and Montreal -!I thought Montana would be good cuz closer to California and affordable when I moved here . Culture is not what I had hoped for - folks are not inclusive to new folks - even though I came here In 2011 . It’s like I am still new . I do most everything alone now that the kids grew up . Not a friendly place . Wonder what Tennessee was like that way - were they welcoming ? Friendly ?

From what I know about Tennessee depending on where you're at crime is just as bad in California as it is there.

Please pray for us that are forced to stay behind in California beyond our control. May God have mercy on those us left behind. Because of multiple health conditions since adolescence I am 60% why my family must remain behind.There are only so many trauma one level hospitals that are able to provide care that I require. I am welcome to visit other places however to remain I must have a support system for when become ill with for example the flu. Overall Roseville, Placer County , California is one of the nicest places to be considering my circumstances.

Chicago is a mess and the governor of the state is just ridiculous and pathetic on so many levels. The weather has always sucked most of the year and companies have moved to more pro-business states. Sad. Born in the city, raised mostly in the suburbs, yet can't wait to get out.
