"Mr. Jim Parsons" is what I first noticed too. That's really cool!

I want to watch the entire series again because I am not ready to say goodbye to these delightful characters.

Iain Armitage's exceptional talent, unwavering dedication, and enduring commitment to his role as Sheldon Cooper have earned him well-deserved acclaim as one of the most entertaining and determined child actors of our generation. Despite starting at a young age, Iain has consistently maintained his enthusiasm, professionalism, and focus, without ever complaining about sacrificing a normal life or imposing his personal beliefs, which is truly commendable and would make even the likes of Tom Cruise and Christian Bale proud. It was a pleasure watching the kids grow up on the show. What a treat to see the older more experienced actors, Annie Pots, Craig T Nelson again. I grew to love Lance Barber, truthfully? He was my favorite character. I was crushed when he died. Zoe Perry was an absolute delight as Mary. Funny show I'll miss

You can see Lance Barber again on Always Sunny In Philadelphia. He plays Bill Ponderosa and comes in from Season 6 onwards.

"Young Sheldon" is my favorite show and Iain is extremely talented, witty, and sweet. I hope this was just the beginning of a very promising career and we'll see more of him!!! ❤❤❤

I purchased all seasons on YT and can watch reruns whenever I want. It's also on HBO Max and now Paramount+ to stream.

Young Sheldon had more of a family-friendly like atmosphere, where BBT was targeted towards adults more. I can't say which one was better. They are both 100% great entertainment.

Young Sheldon and Barry are both helping me with my therapy. It would be much harder to cope after my sessions with the doctor if I didn't have both these shows to open my heart

If this kid leaves Sheldon Cooper character behind he will be the next Leo Dicaprio, this kid is a real prodigy and i can see him playing complex and physical characters in the future.

When he auditioned for the role it must of been an instant decision “we have our young Sheldon”

Presented very well on every show prior to End of Young Sheldon... We will miss those adventures. Am wishing a most successful new venture for you, Iain, where ever you decide. Thank you for the memories.

He can play a lot of films and series as adult but he could play in one series as growing up ans he chose to be Sheldon. He gives his only childhood to that series. We are very lucky. Thanks a lot for the experience. You will be in my heart forever as young sheldon

When a series pretty much telling you that one character gonna die in the end and you still get affected by it even tho you're already preparing for it, it just really awesome and well written honestly.

Antenna TV is free. Well, getting it set up is not. That's true. I never moved to cable or streaming so I've got an antenna. This is one TV phenomenon I can actually watch in real time..... Paramount Plus is offering a week's subscription for free. You'd just have to watch the show and cancel that subscription right away. You might also try your library. Mine has Big Bang and Young Sheldon DVDs.

I think Iain portrayed Jim Parsons (expressions) the most in the last 5-6 episodes. But Iain is older and could carry it out better now. Wow! Chuck Lorre knows how to pick his cast members on each of his sitcoms, I'll say that much. To name a few, BBT, would not be the same without any of the cast members, Mike and Molly was great, Bob Hearts Abishola has an excellent cast (funny as heck), Mom was great with their cast members, and 3 1/2 Men was awesome in its time. Yes, Chuck, you are the king of sitcoms. Let's bring Zoe and Annie into Georgie and Mandy's first marriage. We know Raegan wants to move on, and I don't blame her, Sheldon is gone to CalTech, and George has passed away. It wouldn't hurt to bring Mandy's parents on it either. Remember when Mary thought Mandy's mom might steal CC so she grabbed the stroller and went in the kitchen? 🤣 The writers could write more things like this into the Georgie and Mandy sin-off (if they would agree to sign on for 2 seasons). Since I thought Georgie was a hoot in Young Sheldon, I think the producers made a good choice to create this spin-off. 💞

Hopefully he does well and not typecast.

I believe that the whole show (Young Sheldon) was based on Sheldon's Memoirs. He made his Dad out to be a great guy and the role play of his parents was in his memoirs as well. His true realities of what really happened is based on the Big Bang Theory. His writing was to show that he came from a good family and not the reality that was presented to us on The Big Bang Theory. This is why his professors nor Paige was ever mentioned. He wrote a fantasy novel about a Good, Wholesome Family. He made his Meemaw out to be a with it (in Sheldon's mind) granny who had a little danger in her. The whole show (Young Sheldon) is based on a fantasy that Sheldon wrote in his Autobiography.

Good question. Maybe director thought the number of reactions in the shot needed to be limited? That there were already too many people in the scene? If so, I don't agree. I think it would have been stronger to keep everyone there....maybe something related to their new series came into play in the decision. Not sure what that would be, but that thought popped into my brain.

If you have watched TBBT, you had to know George die when Sheldon was 14. He is 14.

I know he isn't very tall but he has a neck like a linebacker ha. In fairness, I think its the right time to close the show - he's been brilliant in it but definitely got too old and unfortunately unlike Georgie not really much they can do with the character now given what we know via the TBBT. I am excited for the spinoff and hopefully the actor who plays Young Sheldon continues on the path of success, in whatever he chooses to do.
