I’m down for a teen sheldon show in the future when he moves to caltech to fill in the years between young sheldon and tbbt (1995-2003)

Endings are always really difficult.

I very rarely watched reruns of “The Big Bang Theory” but watch “Young Sheldon” religiously. I’m 62 years old. One thing they didn’t take into consideration about what “Young Sheldon” has done…through the innocence of a young kid and his family, I’ve started watching “The Big Bang Theory” and am now not annoyed with the Sheldon character. For me, Ian humanized Sheldon.

The Sheldon character is supposed to annoy you. But in the end... him being annoying will have a huge payoff for where the character goes in the finale.

@@RamBo-we9ii I didn’t find the adult Sheldon intriguing at all…until I saw him as a child. That’s why I rarely watched “The Big Bang Theory.” The character is much more palatable as a child.

I wish I forgot all the episodes of BBT and Young Sheldon and then watched them all over again, what bliss would that be😌😁

I’m still crying! Our home has enjoyed lol and seeing Sheldon and his siblings grow up and become the people they are today. Thank you CBS, all the actors, writers, directors, producers, and crew for bringing us so much happiness and joy for the last seven seasons. Wishing all continued blessings and success in all your future endeavors. We have decided to stream The Bing Bang Theory and to watch Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage on CBS. By the way, does that mean there is a second marriage? Something to ponder upon.

I LOVE this show! So when I watched the episode that aired last Thursday, it left me with my hand over my mouth and breaking down in tears!!!! It was one of the most shocking shows I've ever seen! And although I hate that "Young Sheldon" has to end, I understand. Kudos to everyone who put this wonderful, unique show together for us to enjoy! Job well done!

If you watched The Big Bang Theory, you knew that Sheldon would go to Graduate school when he was 14. That is where we are at.. You would also know from Sheldon that his Dad, died at the age of 42. No surprise, but still sad.

yeah i remember watching it in 2017 way before i even knew what tbbt even was. some random day i was watching tbbt on television and i was like wait a min, that dude's name is sheldon and he's smart, is he the one from young sheldon. lmao

Am I the only person who thinks he looks like young Tom Cruise and would be perfect if in a few years they decide to remake Risky Business or Losin' It or some of his other pre-Top Gun movies? Hell, they could do a father-and-son movie

Oh gosh were they really that young when it started? I've watched since the beginning, but I guess they grew up so gradually I wasn't really noticing. lol It's really only this last season I actually noticed the progression.

I call them Lil Sheldon , & Big Sheldon. My friends & family know exactly which show I’m talking about. I absolutely luv these shows. Saddens me to see them go. I watch reruns of Big Sheldon everyday on streaming device. Now Lil Sheldon will be on rotation as well. Thank you for good tv 📺!

I wish for a Season 13 of The Big Bang Theory. I will miss Young Sheldon entirely. It will always be one of my favorite shows of all times besides Stranger Things

I was never interested in the Bing Bang Theory and never will but I love Young Sheldon. Too bad Ian had to grow up too quick. That is the reason it is ending.

I’ll be the odd one out. I liked Ian as Sheldon less and less as he grew up. I’m glad they increased the story lines of the other characters-I loved watching them grow

Personally this is not a happy ending as everyones favorite character passed away sr.george copper 😢

If you watched Big Bang Theory you already knew this was how it would end.

My thoughts on the character of Sheldon is that there seems to be a hybrid mannerism of grumpy trumpy maybe not all parts but minor parts of the brain within the script and I find that very interesting. So, futurewise if there is ever a grumpy trumpy movie I think Ian could portray young trumpy

I think Iain has kind of outgrown the young Sheldon character. And found himself having to mimic more the adult Sheldon. I have adored this show and its cast and I'm sorry to say I cannot stand the Big Bang theory. I've tried and tried to watch it and I simply cannot get into it whatsoever.

The only reason why the Big bang theory show is slowly becoming forgotten is because it's not being allowed to be watched online in this country it's on Netflix can't be shown in the United States

It could’ve been cool to see Sheldon try to make it on his own in California before he meets Leonard and the gang

Honestly i dont understand why they had to stop the show. Big Bang Theory was a fictional tv show. Even if they had to follow the fictional timeline with sheldon going away theres still plenty of interesting characters.

i think it was a good decision since a lot of shows fail just because they kept going way too long. the story is at its peak rn and continuing it wouldn't be interesting. ending the show is the perfect way to close the show and the story. and plus a new spinoff called georgie and mandy is coming out as well, so ig we'd get to see something different there as well.

People have gotten used to these steroid runs (and BBT was one of them, it probably could've ended three or four seasons earlier) that they forget seven seasons is actually healthy and matches some all-time classics. Just because The Simpsons has made it to the 35th or 36th season doesn't mean everything needs to go for eternity. 7 seasons is a good time to wrap a show up, it goes out before it really exhausts its stay.

CBS Paramount canceled Young Sheldon because they are "cheap. It became too expensive to make.

When the actors are at the end of their contracts, networks and showrunners, look at the future ratings, cost of production, strength of syndication, streaming programming, and pull a show down at the top of its form. YS could have proceeded without the Dad. The spinoff is exactly that, but with the highest paid actors and their costs written out.

This show was awesome, but I predict the spinoff won't last long. Georgie and Mandy just weren't very interesting characters.

yeah me too. georgie and mandy were fine as side characters but a whole new show just for them seems a bit excessive. let's see maybe they might add some new elements to it like they did in young sheldon.

I dont get it. if its such a "huge hit" why cancel it at all? I mean The Price is Right has been on for eons. but I got guess that's not exactly the same thing. I have one question. All the money he's made doing the show goes into a trust he cant touch until he's 18 right?
