What happens if she is offered a great acting role, how much will the business suffer ? Thats why the offer required them stepping down and the other sharks didnt want to get involved. it's extremely disrespectful to call someone's passion and life's work a fucking hobby. She has managed to create something that is beneficial to the educational system and proved to be profitable, hustling and working her ass off, all while doing what she loves with a work life balance. Now Glen understood that and gave her the best offer, as she would rather collect the fruits of her creation than to spend 50-100 hours a week working as the CEO. That's the logical approach. If you aren't prepared to sacrifice for your own business, you aren't really worth an investment. That is why Glen took a 40% chunk of her business.

Then she someone comes on and says they want 300k and will not give you put all their time into it because their more focused on something else. Nobody is suggesting that the sharks are obligated to give her money, but if they are uncomfortable with the fact that she is not full-time in the business then the appropriate responses would be: a) I'm uncomfortable with you being part-time so I'm out b) I'm uncomfortable with you being part-time, but your profitable business is thriving so I would like to find a way to make this work (Glenn) At no point is the appropriate response to attack her character or belittle her career path.
