One of the things i really appreciate from these phrase engines like action strings 2 and orchestrator is their ability to export midi so you can manually tweak and customise - even use different instrument libraries. Ujam striiiings doesnt allow this even though it´s beatmaker plugins do.

Yes I have both Opus as well as The Complete Orchestra. These phrase engines takes some time getting used to, but the drag and drop feature makes them very effective! :)

Yes, that is one of the best things about the phrase engine in this version 2. That you can create your own phrases. =)

It’s a choice between upgrading from Komplete 11 ultimate to Komplete 13 collectors or buying this

I'm in a similar boat - I already have K13 CE. Price to upgrade to Action Strings 2 is $199.00, and is not part of the summer sale. I would consider upgrading for $99, but $199 is a bit much, especially since at some point I'll upgrade to K14 CE, when I would get this included. If I were you, I'd go for the Komplete 13 CE Upgrade, right now. All the extra stuff for orchestra and cinematic are worth it, and I think that upgrade for you is $299.00 during the Summer sale.

@@michaelburns8073 in terms of Cinematic stuff - I have omnisphere & 2 spitfire intimate series plugins. I also have 15 resent maschine expansions I bought on sale over the last 3 years. Would love to get the Action strings 2 ... ..happy to wait for a sale

Just discovered something amazing using the built-in arpeggiatori n logic with phrases....combined with short strings ....it sounds amazing why didn't I think of that earlier. I also stacked up 5 mallet type plugins with filter and an arpeggiator ... that fixes my thirst for Native instruments Flux

Im not sure about the usability of this. It sounds ok-ish, but lucky you have MIDI export. But ostinatos are very simple to play and really require unique human feel for passages, I believe. What we need is more MIDI phrase generators like the one in NI Session Strings Pro 2, that thing is amazing. Sonuscores The Orchestra is excellent for this too. Something that offers actual inspiration to build on.

This is Cool.. but my opinion : ❌ this makes stale and generic music that makes 90% of hollywood movies today... ❌The recording sounds public domain level quality (for me) ✅ easy epic music if for constrained time ✅Can give inspiration and ideas ✅Cool UI and easy click and play
