INTRO
Look I’m 48 years old - i’m just a regular guy - in-fact, less than 2 years ago i was 247 pounds, unhealthy, sitting on the couch eating potato chips.
And now I’m here - in the best shape of my life - working with Blue Star Nutraceuticals to help transform 5 million men by the year 2022.
When I began my transformation I quickly realized the best way to burn off fat was to add some lean metabolic muscle. Now, I’m not talking about “bulking up,” I’m talking about adding fat-free muscle that gives you that hollywood v-taper physique and keeps your metabolism firing at full speed.
That’s why this workout is strategically designed to combine a heavy strength-building power movement with metabolic conditioning - creating an action-ready physique that is both ripped, and muscular.
Let’s get to it.
You will begin the workout with one heavy, strength-building power movement - performing 6 sets of 3 explosive reps using 80% of your 1 Rep Max. For example, if you can lift 200 pounds for 1 all-out rep - you’ll be using 160 pounds for this exercise.
Then you’ll complete 5 exercises performed in circuit fashion, focusing on maximizing metabolic stress and incinerating bodyfat.
For these, you will perform 10 reps of each exercise using 65% of your 1 Rep Max for weighted exercises and repeat the circuit of 5 exercises for as many rounds as possible within 25 minutes!
You are allowed up to 90 secs rest between rounds. Take as short of rest time as needed - push yourself, and do not stop between exercises.
Power Movement:
Exercise #1: Zercher Lunge - 6 x 3 @ 80% 1RM
Keep your arms bent and grab a barbell in the crooks of your elbows - this will take some getting used to for comfort - Next perform walking lunges exploding through the heel of the front foot, back straight and core braced - alternate side to side.
Now it’s time for conditioning - set those timers and let’s get at it!
Conditioning Circuit:
Exercise A: Mountain Climber
Set up in a plank position and drive your knees to your chest one at a time - flex the core and think speed and agility.
Exercise B: Dumbbell Alternate 1-Arm Row
Grab a dumbbell, keep your torso parallel with the floor and pull with your elbow, squeezing your lats as you raise the dumbbell to your hip.
Exercise C: Plyo Push-up Burpees
Jump up as high as possible, then jump back into pushup position, perform an explosive plyo push-up into the air, then jump back to your feet and repeat.
Exercise D: Alternate 1-Arm Kettlebell Swings
Use your hip drive to swing the weight, not your arms. Be powerful aiming to raise the weight to shoulder height. Alternate back and forth each rep, performing 10 reps each arm.
Exercise E: Dumbbell Squat Press
Hold dumbbells at your shoulders, brace the core, keep the knees out and perform a full depth squat going as deep as you can maintaining proper form - then explode up through the heels and drive the dumbbells into an overhead press, lower under control and repeat.
And that’s a wrap!
Blast through that circuit for as many rounds as you can before the 25 minutes is up.

    Mr. Johnson I just want to say THANK YOU! When I started watching your video I weighed 211lbs, my A1c was at a 9.7 and my doctor wanted to place me on other medications to help my diabetes. I now weigh 187lbs, my A1c or glucose level dropped from 265ml to 85ml!! I also have started to show my six pack which I never had ever!! My wife has definitely taken notice!!     Completed 4 sets in 26 minutes, all exercises with a pair of 50lb dumbells. I'm spent from head to toe. Incredible workout I'm going to get the body I want and have been working towards for too long, now that I've found you guys.

    1 rep would be when you drive your left knee up to your chest, then your right knee up towards your chest. So you'll have to drive your knees up 10 reps on each side.

    Yes. Actually the majority of his transformation happened within a matter of 6 months as part of a transformation challenge we ran. When you train hard, eat properly and have a solid plan to follow, you can achieve some amazing results in a relatively short period of time if you're really committed.

    @@BlueStarNutraceuticals I am sure the exact workout will not be provided but if this man was 46, 246 lbs, how did he gain both the strength and conditioning needed to push the weight being advertised in six months to progress to this level of development within 2 years? Not to say that gains and change are not possible but to this extent? I'm younger than he is, retired military, trainer, and gym enthusiast with a decent diet to say the least. I have never obtained these gains in my best shape. Just trying to obtain the magic formula. Not questioning as I am also a supporter. Just wondering.

    How effective is Blade with a KETO diet program? Are there any adverse effects of using it with Keto? If my body is burning fat reserves first because i am in ketosis, will blade help or hurt that natural process? Thanks

    It's laid out for you in the description of the video. You start with the first heavy exercise (The Zercher Lunge) and do all 6 sets of 3 reps. Then you perform the 5 remaining exercises as a circuit, doing set 1 exercise 1, then set 1 exercise 2, set 1 exercise 3 and so on until all 5 are complete. Then you do a second set of each exercise, one after the other. Your goal is to finish doing as many rounds of that circuit of 5 exercises as possible in 25 minutes. Hopefully that helps clarify.

    circuit training isn't a feasible workout in the average gym. other people working out tends to interfere in the process.

    Definitely understandable, however for the circuit portion of this workout, all you need is a pair of dumbbells and a kettlebell, so not too much trouble to have that in one spot with you to do the circuit 💪🔥
