The last dude was useless. And a few others before him.
Tax payers should NOT be paying for these useless departments, they are far from human rights, GET RID ASAP
Where were they during the covid anti-human rights fiasco.?

Yelling that not providing free money to northland was a "breach of their rights"
We need a body who race blind if human rights is breached then we need neutrality, unfortunately the last govt has put in place public servants who have there own adgenda
Shut it down absolutely disgraceful
Meng Foon falsely called the Police racist, and then refused to act when Te Pati policy said "It is a well known fact that Maori are genetically superior"
Who is the Commission accountable to? Unclear. Can we vote them out? No. Who is accountable for the Bill of Rights Act? Parliament. Can we vote them out? Yes. I'll take Parliamentary Sovereignty, thanks. Not that keen on the specialist bureaucracies.

Absolutely agree!
An interesting interview, ACT still putting in the work for NZer's. Agree with their stance on HRC, The Treaty does need defining going forward so that every citizen has the same opportunities, not race based or race biased. Activists don't want it fair and equitable because it doesm't suppprt their cause.

The treaty is no longer relevant. It was written between two peoples, Maori and the British. NZ is no longer two peoples.

@steveabplanalp9607 not even the British, just the crown.
The NZHRC say discrimination is ok if its positive discrimination. They are pro not anti discrimination.

Marxist horseshit out of the United Nations.
Why "te" treaty when treaty is an English word?
Good job. DCM. See ya.
A new broom sweeps clean....take out the trash ...for too long we have complained about the stench but no one has taken out the rubbish. Awesome work Act party !!! Thankyou for working for ALL New Zealanders and seeing racist activism and destructive divisiveness as abhorent, wrong and long overdue for a deep clean. Thankyou for rooting out the bad smelling rubbish. Act isn't afraid to not only talk about it, stand up to it, roll their sleeves up and actually do something about it . Well done Act party members we appreciate your work . !!!
It is a sad day when I find myself agreeing with the ACT Party - kudos to them! Yes, agreed, scrap the HR Commission and spend the money on roads and bridges.

Last election the family sat down and looked at all the parties police’s and pledges. For the first time we all voted ACT after debate. Don’t regret it yet
It will want to bring in Refugees 😊

Worthless words, what use are rights if they cant be defended?
We do not have any human rights left. Look at what Jacinta did! How to get people in government that are common sense and not totally invested in what they may collect.
Bit like UNRA
Wrong. More accountability for all government departments. Correct the wrongs and do your jobs. There is F all accountability across the board with all government agencies and departments.
Jacinda gave us a choice...Be kind, or be honest. To be honest...You can kill things with kindness, like the old saying goes. Will the Platform God delete this comment?

No ones deleting your comments Anne, especially not the platform lol.
We need the HRC but they are so woe and weak. The issue is that they have no powers under the law. They need a hard line approach, severe fines (at least $100K minimum) ad the ability to issue those fines with out the need for court action
Nobody pucks up thatpk0one when I rang it😮 another wast money for nothing
A+ Media here @Platform. Thankyou 🌹✨
