I feel like a have just watched a Master Artist at work. I understand the silent treatment. As an artist her mind is creating. Like she said, the paint tells her what to do. With acrylic art, you have to learn to listen to the paint and "go with the flow"

I love the pink-sand-striations! It makes the painting pop with explosive color!!!! Also, loving the white wave splash-swirls. I like it! :)

Oh my goodness, I absolutely love this! I love the ocean and coastline and these are my favorite vacations. I especially love that this is not a beach scene, but instead looks like some other-worldly place where a meadow of flowers runs right up to the edge of the ocean; flowers and all!

I’m amazed watching this. Every paint pouring video I’ve seen, the artist stops as soon as the paint has covered the canvas, they don’t think about what they want to make either. Watching you make this painting come alive is Wow. I subbed 😃

@@carengoodrich You've inspired me so much to try these techniques. I haven't painted in a long time because of crippled hands but I feel like I can do something with this kind of panting so my kitchen is stocked up with everything I've been getting because it's the only open table in my house. I saved all of the boxes things came in to cover the paintings so my cats don't end up multi colored. If I can come up with a painting just a small percentage of how beautiful yours are I will be very happy. My family will be getting my experiments for Christmas presents. Thank you for inspiring me to try a new form of art I can do with my hands. I've been doing fractal art and have about 14 animations on KZread but I'm so ready to do something else. You have given me a new outlet for my creativity that won't hurt my hands.

What a very pleasant surprise stumbling onto your video. This was so much fun to watch. I love seascapes and you used mostly just a metal spatula as your brush. Nicely executed. I was mesmerized by the whole process.

That was the most fabulously meditative experience, to watch you paint, without sound. I can't believe how much I loved watching that. At first I felt disappointed, that you weren't going to share your inner thoughts with us as it unfolded, but as soon as you got going, I dropped way down into that experience. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity in this way!

Not only do I love your way of working - so open to every possibility of the fluid effects of paint reactions, color, movement, cells, lacing effects etc. but also open to the possibility of adding paint when needed to keep control without overworking ... knowing when to stop & maintain freshness. Most of all you are not adding these awful loud sound effects called music that distract from the beauty of a 'SILENT LANDSCAPE" that many of your contemporary you tube artists inflict on the public! Well done!

Thanks, Maryllis! Yes I don't like to put music to my videos, the viewer can provide his/her own music if wanted! Glad you like this method of working, it is the most fun to me because it is a challenge to guide the paint pour into a ocean or landscape without overdoing it.
