7] 🌊🏝 How to ACRYLIC POUR a BEACH with 2 DIRTY POURS - Ocean Waves in a Fluid Acrylic painting
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This video details my techniques for using two dirty pours and a "secret tool" (giggle) to create beautiful ocean waves and a glistening beach in a fluid painting. I explain my color choices, how I mix my paint, and then I show you my dirty pours step-by-step. The video ends with close-ups of the finished painting. I truly hope it will inspire you to have fun making one too. Thank you for “hanging out with me” for a few minutes! Let me know if I can help. 😊💕

You're a great teacher and inspiration! I just completed 100 acrylic pours and needed to do something different. 80 % of them were ocean theme so this tutorial couldn't have come at a better time. Plz keep them coming! ✨🌏☀️
Absolutely stunning
Absolutely amazing! I spent my younger year growing up next to the beach at the top end of Australia and spent most days at the beach. This painting conjures up memories of that time! Love it, love it, love it! Thankyou Myriam :)))
I am a landscape artist and my experience in waves and the crashing waves it’s harder to make them look as real as you do here I’m very impressed I think I know how to even make mine look more real thank you have a great day JD

Love love this piece
I want to complement your videos as being great tutorials. There are many other KZreadrs who demo acrylic pouring but they rarely tell the exact formula's of their paint mixtures. Thanks for being so willing to share measurements and ingredients. You have definitely helped me to achieve more successful pours. You are the only KZreadr who has ever shared the formula for 1 ML of paint mixture per square inch. I think this tip alone is going to save me a lot of paint in the future. Thanks

Gorgeous
I was wishing to find a video of someone making a beach scene and this video popped up!
Loved it...so inspiring!
My O.C.D. took over with this one, I love the color scheme and that is mostly because my brain told me "Yes...This is right, this is a tidal picture"...and It is a good rendition of one! But it was a bit frustrating for me??? I wanted to have the white blown back towards the water also, so it would look like it was on top of the wave and not mixed into the water...the only other thing was I wanted the sand to be directed horizontally, crossing the direction of the crashing wave? I loved the background it was perfect... I love that you loved the colors, and I agree, perfect choice of hews
Very very nice your art. I do love it. Congratulations.
It is so beautiful. This is exactly what I have been looking for.
OMG this is so cool! I love what you did with the straw! Thanks for your video!

That’s awesome to hear... thank you for sharing that with me!!
This is exactly what I want
Thanks so much for this video! My 6-year old grandson and I tried some of your techniques yesterday - we did a swipe for the ocean, but a dirty pour for the sand using gold glitter paint and gold metallic. It didn't have as much depth as I would have liked, so next time we'll add a tan or beige for a third color. We also used your technique of blowing the white to make the crashing foam. All in all, we were very pleased with how the painting turned out, but the canvas board warped badly as the paint was drying, so some of it flowed into the middle warped area. He wants to try again, so we'll look for other surface options. Thanks again for sharing your techniques!

Hi Vicki... Thank you for this wonderful comment! I was so excited to read about your experience with your grandson. How fun! I was definitely sorry to hear that the canvas board warped but was so happy to see that it did not deter you! How big of a "canvas"/surface did you want to paint? I'd love to suggest some options if I can think of some.
Great job!!!!!
I had leftovers from the "beach" and leftover Yupo paper....yes, I did! lol I did those too!

"Leftover" paint is sometimes my favorite thing… It's amazing how weirdly creative we can be with those little bits of paint. And messing around is half the fun, which you clearly have figured out! I can feel your enthusiasm right through the screen Valerie...That's so awesome. 😃🎉.
