Omg what a treat Caren..could see a beautiful painting when upside down but, oh my gosh when you turned it around I saw a beautiful landscape! Thank you so much for your tutorials.. so helpful💜
Wow! Awesome! Caren, that’s the difference between a real artist like you, and a wannabe like me.... had I been the one doing the pour I would have thought “I ruined it”, and scraped it off! Yet you knew how to proceed and end up with an amazing landscape. Bravo! 👏🏼

Thank you Josie, yes the idea is to keep going, I thought it would be a good time to illustrate that concept, so many pours stop too soon...just want people to know there are other ways to continue.
That was so fun to watch. It turned out really well. Very creative. Looks like a Salvidor Dali!
Wow! Superb 👍🏼
Wow, Caren!!! I said "Ohhhh" also, when you finished and turned the painting around. That's so nice!!

I am just so amazed - that is just so beautiful - I am definitely going to be doing this type of technique - thank you so much.
That looks great! What a wonderful idea!!!
Wow! Just awesome!
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh is right ! Love ❤️ it !
what I watch you and others paint so wonderfully like this it makes me completely happy like I was when I was a child. It's a very spontaneous and free art form and happens right before our eyes and to me every single pour is Magic. the colors are healing as I've commented before. Pure magic thank you for letting me watch
An amazing pour to do on the fly! Beautiful!

It's incredible!!!👏👏👏
I love it!
Love the landscape
I love the "ooohh!" at the end lol. I envy the way you can "see" the image even through the layers of paint, and make it come to life. I hope I can achieve something like this one day!
Beautiful 🌷🌻❣️
Very very pretty!
That's beautiful. Nice job.
Incredible... So beautiful...
This one was fantastic!! You are a great demonstrator. Thanks for sharing. I wish I could purchase that one. Trish 👏
Clever!
So beautiful. Words can't express how that makes me feel.
I can tell you are a great artist. You rule the paints, you don't let the paints rule you, that is why you always take it to the next level where others fear to mess with the initial pouring. This painting is truly stunning!

Beautiful
AMAZING !!!! Love it !!! Thank you Caren ! Kind regards - Judi -Australia
Thanks Caren I am inspired now.
Just let me say that I cannot understand why anyone would bother to "thumbs down" an excellent video. I have noticed this happening a lot in the past few weeks, on several of the channels to which I subscribe, where I have never seen a negative reaction before. I suspect it is a "campaign" by some jealous KZreadrs. Pay no attention. You and your videos are awesome.

Gayle's Cool Crafts and Sewing lol thanks! Here’s (partially)what may be happening: when people get recommended videos in their feed, they do a thumbs down to show the algorithm what type of video they don’t want to see. Otherwise, they must be just your basic unhappy internet trolls. But that’s ok, because those thumbs downs compel more people to give a thumbs up!

It's a reoccurring theme on many artists/youtubers pages, once over a certain amount of subscribers is reached the thumbs down start to increase, it has a name but I can't remember, shouldering or something like that, in a strange way it's a badge of honour as once the thumbs down start appearing you know you're a success ;)

haha oh boy, you must do some good stuff then :D I'll never understand the negativity the internet has bred, some of us were brought up to say if you haven't got anything nice to say, say nothing. There also those who are fiercely loyal to other artists and don't like new people doing the same type of things. Ignoring it is difficult but people seem to have got used to it, part of online life now *sigh*

Oh my When you turned it around I was overwhelmed with how beautiful it is! I tried to do a swipe landscape and failed miserably. I think it takes quite a bit of talent..Really, this is incredible. Thanks for sharing.
C'est magnifique j'adore votre travail

NUYorklady Leonardo thank you! I like being an honest swiper!!
woohwa...beautifull..and no torch needed :)
I realize when I do this I have no vision. The way you bled the mountain into the foothills, then the green field, brush, small trees and finally the foreground of water & flowers. I’ll keep at it though. You inspire me. Stay well.

James Rossi thank you James, just keep it simple: sky, horizon (hills or flat), and foreground.
This is beautiful. One of the things I find objectionable to some pours (mine included) is the lack of “involvement” and leaving it all up to chance. You, and a growing number of terrific artists, are putting more of your own soul into it. Truly creative. I hope no one is offended by my admittedly snobbish opinion. Stay well

Caren, I loved watching you paint this. Maybe I'll get brave enough to try it. Looks like a lot of fun. I don't understand why anyone would thumbs down a cool video like this, either. Pure jealousy I guess. Keep doing what you do. Many of us love your channel.

Hello. Your job is very beautiful. I have a lot of chatter. I want to know what you use to mix in the color, so it makes it beautiful.
Hola como has pasado Que linda técnica y sus efectos Gracias por compartir. Dios te bendice
Beautiful...I love that you have a plan. I also very much prefer these videos over Live shows. All the people saying Hi is very annoying....though I know you tried to handle that as well 😄

I do Live because it is a fun opportunity for me to interact with viewers. People love participating in the Lives, and I will continue to do them on occasion for variety. BTW I've done about 90 videos and only 3 (so far) were Live. But thank you, I'm glad you like this landscape video!

maryllis ellen thank you so much, I really love these swiped landscapes!
just wanna ask you sis if you add silicon? Thanks for the reply.
bello
já dei like antes de ver...aqui no Brasil tem que ser milionário para comprar resina
How did u do the horse behind u? Great videos! Subbed!
Very light touch, right? Silicone? I love watching in silence. Thank you for doing these videos.
Loved seeing this come together. You are so talented. Is there a video on the lovely animal paintings I see in the background? Cheers from downunder where is is super HOT! Narelle :) xo
I love the landscape swipes. However, what I wanted to ask you veers away the actual subject matter of this video. I apologize for that. In this video there are 2 paintings on the wall behind you that I am particularly interested in. One is of a horse and the other is of a buffalo. It looks like you may have done an initial pour, then some how blocked out the imagine to lay down the background. Was this done with stencils? The horse has so much movement I can't imagine that it was a stencil. (I love that painting!) I'd love to try this. Have you done a video(s) showing how to do this? I thought I'd seen most, if not all, of your videos. I don't remember ever seeing anything like that.

Hi Sherry, it's negative painting done on a dry pour. I have done videos about how to do this on a wet pour, see my Playlist for a list of videos. I have not yet done a video about doing it on a dry pour. Will do at some point.
I LOVE all your videos, but I am looking at your wall, and those animal silhouettes are eye catching, could you please do a video on that technique, I love wild animals. Thanks
I tried playing with my paint and got a muddy mess. Not as easy as it looks.
@carengoodrich

In general, pouring is not as easy as it looks. But this is a great technique if you are interested in pursuing abstract landscapes. Maybe use fewer colors (less chance for making it muddy) until you get the hang of it.
:)
iT IS A VAN GOUGH POUR !!!
Don’t you think that this Craft of swiping and pouring is a crapshoot. It’s a good class to teach the elderly!
Been better if you had done it landscape rather than portrait.....

Fizzy Thomas it would have been different, not better. It’s just a matter of preference. I do landscapes both ways to avoid being boring and predictable.
