Makes me miss my R32 Skyline that someone crashed into 3 months ago. She was totaled but I’ll come back strong. This video makes me want a JDM 300ZX. Cool to see that we share the interest in metal detecting and Japanese sports cars!

The Hoover Boys It was a sad day.. Thankfully I was ok and so was my AT pro in the trunk. Insurance payed out pretty great which is the silver lining. It happened when I was pulling into my darn driveway! Anyways, there are always more cars out there! The 300’s can be picked up at a decent price, I would just need to find the right one though. I was one of the few people that loved the HICAS in my R32, so it’s nice the 300 has that too! This is Oofeeleelee, just a different account.

My best friend and I rescued a '71 Chevelle SS from a barn. Young guy bought it in 1970, got his ass drafted, volunteered for the Marines and never made it home. His parents couldn't even think about it. We were fixing a tractor for them and saw a red with white stripes convertible. Half eaten by mice, top rotted, all belts/hoses/seals gone. Asked the parents what they wanted for it. They asked us if we would care for it. Within a year it was better than new (nitros and extra radiator added) and brought it back to show them. 396, 3 speed manual, 70s in front 60s in the rear. Stiff frame because of it being a convert. It was a beast and I still miss it.

My uncle had a T-top. When he moved, my dad and I helped to drive it to his new house. While driving my dad said “son let’s open the sun roof” I hit the unlock and put my hands up to slide it open...it came off transforming into a million pieces on the road! my dad said “let’s not tell anyone about that” oops 😬

Lived in Northern and Southern Cali. for 10 years. Loved the north, San Rafael and Novato. Didn't care for Southern. About 4 years ago my car pooped out. My cousin fixed it, but took 4 to 5 months, since he loaned a 90's twin turbo 300zx. Dark Grey, Leather interior. AWESOME car! I didn't want my car back!! :) Fell in love! Have fun my friend! Love the show.

Craziest thing we've ever done is ship three vehicles to Hawaii, and all our household goods, then four years later ship them all back. That killed a cool $30, 000 and was a logistical nightmare to boot. I'm glad everything worked out and you got your dream car just in time for Christmas Kurt. Thank you for all of the great adventure's this year. I hope this season finds you and yours happy and blessed. I also hope the coming year is full of many more Hoover Boy adventures. For myself I am a fan of Mopar muscle cars, and used to own, 2-1970 Dodge Challengers, a 1969 Dodge Super Bee, and a 1970 Plymouth 440 Cuda. They all were screamers and I spent many happy hours under their hoods. Sadly however, they were money pits, so when my babies were born in the 80's, I sold them. How I wish I had them now. Now if I could have any car I wanted, it would be a toss up between a 1933 Deusenburg, or any model of a Bugatti Veyron. They my friend our my two dream cars. Beauty and speed, gotta love it!

She's a keeper! Congrats! The 300zx TT was my first car. She broke down on me when I was 20, and I couldn't let it go. I got a another low mileage engine and rebuilt that motor put it in my Z. Kurt: My older brother purchased a 1978 280Z new in 1978. Twenty tears later he purchased another 1978 model from it's original owner. He left the newer one in stock condition. He replaced the hood, doors, and all the fenders with fiberglass on his original car. The original engine was rebuilt with new custom pistons, the valves were enlarged, the engine was balanced, the original cams were replaced along with three side draft two barrel carburetors and an inter-cooled turbo charger. It was tuned on a dino and developed close to 400 HP. It was a "pocket rocket" and a joy to drive. He lived along the Gulf Coast near the city of Corpus Christy, and unfortunately hurricanes Harvey destroyed both of them. Take care of this jewel and you can pass it down to the next generation.

I was 18 in 1980 when the Nissan 280ZX came out. I always loved them. I live in a small town of about 4300 people. several years ago I found one only a few blocks from me. I still love it but the past couple years I haven't had her out. Maybe this year. Congrats on your new baby. Enjoy!!!

No way! Huge congratulations. The interior of the NSX and ZX are so similar. Absolutely perfect in my opinion. I’ve only had the pleasure to see a few NSX up close over the years. They’re gorgeous
